I'm afraid there won't be much to choose from. The level of projects leaves much to be desired.
The problem with this category would be the mandatory split into best onhold and best abandoned. It only makes sense with completed games.Best ongoing game category too.
Best ongoing would be based on how good the updates released in current year are. I think in order to be qualified as ongoing the game should be around at least since earlier last year ago or so. Yeah there's a lot of games ongoing but there's a lot that come and go or are just straight irrelevant too.I think it's too generic and broad as a category.
This is why i have mentioned "New Best Promise", it's related to the current year.
There is a ton of "game on going" out there...!![]()
I have no clue what SSP stands for.Automatically invalid since there's no SSP listed.
Most likely the game Such a Sharp Pain.I have no clue what SSP stands for.
I don't mind HTML, but the only RPGM I really like is Claire's Quest, that is one of my faves.Yep, I hate anything RPGmaker or HTML or using Koikatsu. Also, anything with cartoony graphics. Then there are tags, etc that some people love and other people hate.
I can't seem to find that game. Any suggestions?Most likely the game Such a Sharp Pain.
It's in the section you don't have access to yet.I can't seem to find that game. Any suggestions?
In my opinion, games with an actual deep good story would definitely deserve to be nominated, but people would rather vote for meme games tbhNot that bad of an idea, the real questions would be: Is it open or closed voted? On one hand, people could nominate and vote, but, then it could become simply a contest of popularity, and on the other, you'd need a group of people with both expertise and commitment, to try the games and cast votes with arguments to the other members that voted.
It's funny to thing of an 'adult game expert' to actually play a game and dissect it, as if it were a movie.
Why do people always tend to complicate things?It's most simple than complicated. Someone is putting too many problem in my opinion.
Just divide into two macro categories: "Completed" and "New best promise",
then, could be awarded respectively: "Best Story", "Best Graphic", "Best Male MC" and "Best Femal MC", "Best Animation", "Best Soundtrack & BCSound", and finally "Best Gameplay".
A list of games for each macro is created by the administrators,
Site members vote with a rating from 1 to 5 for every game, for every sub categories;
The average of the vote establishes the winners of the sub categories;
At the end the overall average score of each game draws up the final ranking in the two macro categories, for "Best Game of the Year" and "Best Promise of the Year".
It's easier said than done.
I think that would be a great ideaI think the same, it should be organized by categories, at least for graphics and maybe even for engine.
Ok this gave me a chuckle but from what i've seen recently more and more game go in the AI direction and its kinda ehh-"best default asset ai slop shovelware"
I really like this idea. But a lot of games will probably recieve 5 stars. May need to do a final voting round ranking the top 5 games to find a true winner instead of just the vote averagesIt's most simple than complicated. Someone is putting too many problem in my opinion.
