I don't think you realize the significance a character has for someone when they play a major role in their sexual awakening

I understand that, but likewise it can also be a major turnoff for someone whose own awakening is fundamentally incompatible even within the related fetish. When your brain just doesn't register a character in that way, the result is a pretty strong aversion. At least in my case, to each their own.

A really well made Neko maybe once (if that qualifies as a furry, this tag is a little confusing) a sexy Hebe that happens to have cat ears and or a tail was at best some Strange.
Neko Paradise I enjoyed for a few minutes then the Thrill just evaporated.
