My favorite setting is with the volume off. Except when I'm alone.

Wow, surprising amount of people like things grounded in reality with realistic fiction. The popular 'step sister stuck in washing machine' world trope.

Should clarify that 'Slice of Life' is more thematic than world setting though. You can have a realistic slice of life in a high fantasy or space setting.

Anywhere is fine as long as the renders and story is good enough.

catgirls = high fantasy

i would support catgirls showing up in all genres

I'm surprised by the answers. I could have sworn people would prefer fantasy

I like a realistic setting, with maybe a sprinkling of fantastical elements

Realistic. I like stories that can potentially happen in real life, rather than magic powers etc.

Depends honestly.

High Fantasy = Beastman Catgirls
Space = Alien race of Catgirls
Science Fiction = Gene Modding Catgirls
Post Apoc = Mutant/Monster Catgirls

World doesn't really limit the characters, just dictates how they appear.

Realistic fiction. I really like the split of office romance and home life in Light of My Life. And while the dream sequences are a little fantastical, it's very mild. No occult societies or scifi gizmos.

I do like post apocalyptic stuff like Desert Stalker for the dramatic tension and aesthetics, though.

I feel that the fetishes and context are far more relevant to a porn game.
But I'm biased towards High fantasy because my favorite adult games have a high fantasy setting.

Simple question on the general theme you like your adult games to be in. Quick run down...

  • High Fantasy - Swords, Magic, Monsters, and Mayhem. The world is a fantastical place and we just live in it. Example: Lord of the Rings, Dungeons and Dragons, most Isekai settings
  • Low Fantasy - Realistic world with dash of fantasy. The world is strange and you're just finding out. Example: Dresden files, Supernatural, Adam's Family
  • Realistic Fiction - Realistic world with fictional aspects. Just making your way in the world. Example: CSI, NCIS, Suits, Burn Notice, Breaking Bad
  • Post Apocalyptic - Scraping by in the end of the world. Survival after the end. Example: Walking Dead, The Last Ship, Attack on Titan
  • Science Fiction - It's not magic, its science! Includes cyber and steam punk where fantasy acts are explained with science and techno babble. Example: Cyberpunk, Golden Compass, Journey to the Center of the Earth,
  • Space - SPAAAACE! Basically anything involving the empty void. Example: Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, The Expanse
I think I have to give this one to realistic fiction based on it being easier to identify with and immerse yourself in. Probably because its easier to write based on things you know. But I really love all settings as long as they're done right.

Post-Apocalyptic, weld some armor plates to a pickup truck, grab your duffle bag full of guns and party like it's the end of the world... Find me a nice wasteland girl, hopefully not an irradiated mutant, but hey, cant be too choosey in the end times.

I've got a cartoon character for an avatar, and a username that probably references exactly what you think it does.
An active imagination that allows me to insert myself pretty much anywhere.

Yeah. I don't actually have a favorite setting. I'm a pervert. If she's attractive, then who cares where she is as long as I'm there?

(Kudos to those who can actually make a decision though.)

Realistic fiction is the one I feel like connects the most, but I feel like Post-Apocalyptic games tend to have a higher chance of being good quality compared to all other genres. Am I the only that feels this way?

I also like more realistic scenes like families where you can experience everyday life with a big pinch of sex :)
