catgirls = high fantasy
i would support catgirls showing up in all genres
I think I have to give this one to realistic fiction based on it being easier to identify with and immerse yourself in. Probably because its easier to write based on things you know. But I really love all settings as long as they're done right.Simple question on the general theme you like your adult games to be in. Quick run down...
- High Fantasy - Swords, Magic, Monsters, and Mayhem. The world is a fantastical place and we just live in it. Example: Lord of the Rings, Dungeons and Dragons, most Isekai settings
- Low Fantasy - Realistic world with dash of fantasy. The world is strange and you're just finding out. Example: Dresden files, Supernatural, Adam's Family
- Realistic Fiction - Realistic world with fictional aspects. Just making your way in the world. Example: CSI, NCIS, Suits, Burn Notice, Breaking Bad
- Post Apocalyptic - Scraping by in the end of the world. Survival after the end. Example: Walking Dead, The Last Ship, Attack on Titan
- Science Fiction - It's not magic, its science! Includes cyber and steam punk where fantasy acts are explained with science and techno babble. Example: Cyberpunk, Golden Compass, Journey to the Center of the Earth,
- Space - SPAAAACE! Basically anything involving the empty void. Example: Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, The Expanse
