    Too much plot between sex scenes. I don't like to mash through dialog, but c'mon. I'm here for the porn a little more than for the story.

    Regular girls or monster girls?

    I like both, and enjoy the pretty mild monster girl styles in something like Neko Paradise, but I also enjoy when a game commits to monster girls being monsters. Peasant's Quest has some really cool monster girl scenes that aren't just human women with animal ears or green skin or whatever.

    Guy strikes it rich selling crypto, buys a house and fills it with a harem. It's done to death, but I actually enjoy games where you move back home and have to familiarize yourself with everyone at work/school. I like it less when you inevitably stumble upon an insane criminal or scifi conspiracy.

    Two that come to mind are Courtship: A Dance With Love, which is on hold, and Life On the Prairie. Both are good. It's hard to think of games with historical settings that don't veer into fantasy.

    I like a good cartoon game, but there's just something about the look of DAZ in particular. I don't know how to put it into words, but I find it really appealing.

    Found in Translation, Limitless and Corrupted Love all have the "sheltering someone" aspect. A lot of harem games will have at least one love interest who's either living on the street or trying to escape a bad situation at home.
