Seems like it woudl be if it was their only livelihood and wasn't just a $100/mo hobby. People move for their day job all the time when it requires it, particularly in the military (usually taking the immediate family with them). Most friends come and go over time, just make new ones.

People also choose to work for less money so they can stay closer to their family and friends. At the end of the day it depends on what the person sees as a priority. For the people that were only playing this for the loli content, I 100% understand why they are upset and why they will most likely stop playing the game. But I think that expecting a dev to just uproot their whole life and move to another country to work on AVN with lolis is kind of silly.

Yeah no one disagrees with that, it's really dumb to start a game with this type of content without checking the laws in your country first. But I don't see what people are trying to accomplish by crying about the changes. No one is happy with this, the dev himself said that he knows he will most likely lose a lot of support. If he is still willing to change the game knowing that he will make less money, you won't change his mind by crying about it on a forum for pirated porn games.

Ngl, was my very first thought when the Westy thing came down... like... yes, the laws regarding that in Aus are ridicolous... but that doesnt mean you should just ignore the laws in your country and the go suprised pikachuface when they come for you... thats beyond stupid :x

Honestly, before this whole thing I didn't even know that australian laws were that bad. I knew that they banned and censored a lot of video games for dumb reasons but I wasn't aware that for them pixels = real people. But I am not australian, westy doesn't really have any excuse.

Yeah I unsubbed as soon as he made that announcement. What's even more ridiculous is the retroactively changing of the previous chapters. Better to just scrap the whole project imo. Know your audience. I absolutely play AvNs with adult characters too(Personal Assistant) and had he kept this one the same and started a different one I could get on board. But this was the worst thing he could have done for supporters.

Yeah, basically my thoughts as well. I would have not that much of a problem with the 'Aging Characters up' if it wouldn't Kill the plausibility of the Story. With the amount of work (new renders and rewriting the Story) to make this change believable, it would be better to scrap it and Start something new.

Because without this work, you have mediocre game, with plenty of alternatives that do a better Job in the Adult/Teen genre.

I don't mind the characters' changes but yeah unless he makes her retarded or autistic the story with Mateo has to be completely rewriten. I don't play the NTR path so it doesn't really affect me but I can see that being a huge issue for the NTR enjoyers.

The Mateo/NTR Ark is fucked the most with the age up, but her general behavior was also quite innocent/childish, so, as you said, as long as she isn't retconned as Mentally Disabled, her whole Character has to be rewritten. And I don't see that happening. Not from this Dev, especially once he looses most (a lot) of his Supporters.

So the Story will probably become some half assed, sort of soft reboot where nothing makes much sense anymore.

As others have stated with minimal changes with aged up lolis the story makes less sense with less believable characters if they are not made retarded or autistic (18 but still acting like 10-12yo virgins and the sexual ignorance that goes with that), so dialogs here and there will need changed too, which will also probably need some story adjustments to make those in turn fit, so the changes probably won't be all that minimal when the dust settles. Also as mentioned before dunno why devs don't look up laws in their country BEFORE starting a loli AVN rather than go through all the effort of changing it later, so 2 years later they aren't left with a bunch of former pissed-off loli fans that are left feeling screwed out of their money and alot of wasted time and effort doing all the changes.
