At one point I had over 50 subs on SS. (My $100/mo SS budget wasn't that hard to reach). After unsubbing to a bunch lately (this was recently one of them) there's still over 25. Most are lowest tier, but Such a Sharp Pain is a $15 one (thankfully not another good Daz loli dev that decided to age up, kill off or abandon his lolis) that ended up getting part of the money that some of the devs I unsubbed from were formerly getting.
The problem with the truth or dare game is that it doesn't really go anywhere besides some touching and kissing. You only get some action with the older daughter's friend if you have low corrpution. And with lily's friend you also only get a blowjob. It's not really worth the months of waiting time. Another problem with the game is that if you don't play both paths (NTR and Vanilla) there are updates where you get nothing. Vanilla players have almost zero content with the 2 main girls until now. The next few updates before this whole remake thing, were supposed to be only for the vanilla path, meaning that NTR players would probably have to wait at least a year to get content for them. It's frustrating because it feels like he was trying to please everyone and ended up creating a mess that no one is happy with.
And that always happens with ANY AVN with NTR in it that isn't just NTR. Most people hate it even when avoidable so much many devs will not even touch it, and those that do usually make it as a totally separate project for that niche rather than a 2nd path in the same AVN. A few devs (ie Inceton) even made separate Patreon/SS/BB/BMAC/Itch/Boosty/etc pages for their NTR games to avoid aliening fans, since some hardcores won't even support a dev that makes NTR games even if it's not their main focus (even as an NTR hater a bit extreme to me but to each their own).
I personally don't mind if the game has a NTR path, the problem is that for most games, it's only one person working on it and it is really hard to give content for both paths. But I think you are right most vanilla fans won't try a game if it has NTR, even if it's 100% avoidable. For most cases it's better to just make a straight up ntr game.
From what I've seen, it's mainly the minority of purists that refuse to play a game with NTR in it even if it's avoidable.
When I talk with my fellow ntr haters I always feel like I am in the minority because I can still enjoy games with that content if it's avoidable. But maybe you're right.
I'm the same way, I don't mind if I can avoid it and it's a kinda obvious choice to do so (ie don't choose to put your LI's in questionable/shady situations).
Maybe it varies, but the people I talk to who don't like NTR will play if it's avoidable, but there are one or two who won't.
Awww. I'm writing an incest AVN based on a true story (I probably suck at it, but I knew that going in) and the only way to have lolis/hebes in it (because, you know, I didn't actually fuck my kids) is to have scenes where the MC has wet dreams with them in them.
Eh, I'm sure people are probably sick of ignoring (fake) disclaimers as much as I am (example of fake = how can every cartoon be 18 if they are still in elementary school and/or say shit like "go ahead and cum inside me, I'm not old enough yet to get pregnant" = lol). For me it would be a lie anyway as I honestly don't care what other people do and I have no opinion either way on it. If they are into humping their own kids it's none of my business as long as they leave mine alone. Not only that we were both teens when we punched each others v cards anyway (she was 14) so to say "all" hebe stuff is pure fiction would be an outright lie. I suppose that would be considered statuatory rape if it happened last year or something (since I was almost 19 at the time), but 15 years ago when she turned 16 (AOC here) = Ohio statute of limitations on that expired long ago (for the criminal version, and I don't think my sis plans on suing me in a civil case in the next decade or so before that expires as well given our relationship status), so no reason to call it fiction anyway. The way I see it if I'm going to base it on a true story might as well go all-in on that. I forget which AVNs it was (quite a few) but when a dev doesn't fully commit to their taboos and leaves readers to set ages and relationships (even if it is probably mostly for legal reasons) that's just annoying (particularly when you can accidently set the wrong ages to where the story won't make much sense chronologically, only to find that out after 100+ hours of reading, would be easier to skip that and just make their canon ages whatever they are supposed to be from the start by default, esp if they are US-based).
Yeah I unsubbed right after his SS announcement of the removal of lolis. Very few loli AVNs are worth subbing to without the lolis, there's just too many (10's of thousands) vanilla AVNs for free and he just turned it into yet another one (that isn't even that good among the vanilla pile). And I know of 0 AVNS where a de-loli'd AVN can stand on the story alone. None are good enough to be made into a movie. The few vanilla that are (prob no more than 10 out of those 10k+) never had lolis in them to begin with since it was good enough to not need them as an extra selling point.
hmmm, the whole idea of dreams to include loli content, I don't see that protecting you. If you have underage girls in the game, that engage in ANY sexual action, you can still be prosecuted if your country/state/whatever has laws that forbid such content. So if you want to make a loli game, then just make one. I don't like dream stuff myself so would not be interested. The main problem with dream stuff, is it has no story/relationship progression, when the MC wakes up that is it, back to square one. Now to get more action with the girl, you have to wait for the MC to go back to sleep... then the player has to skip all that crap text about how the MC feels about his dreams, and maybe some scenes of him checking out the girl etc.... cycle repeats itself. Yeah I also hate that type of scenes, it feels like such a waste of time and 99% of the time it doesn't advance the story in any meaningful way. It's just a cheap way of giving the player sex scenes without any actual progress with any of the characters.
