discussion Does the same 3D models in multiple games ever bother you?

Not much actually, it depends, if the game has good quality (in sex scenes mostly) I'm okay with that

Not usually, but I do notice. The thing is I totally get not everyone has the time or skills to make things like backgrounds or environments for their games (especially if you want it to look good) so it makes perfect sense as a solo dev or small team to buy assets like that, and I won't ignore/quit a game just because I recognize the assets from previous games, but I WILL see them and go 'oh yeah, that reminds me of that other game' which then primes me to compare the current game with another I have played in the past.

If its near 1 to 1 on the MC or main love interest than its a large red flag, while not an Auto send to the recycle bin it will have to pull a lot of weight in other areas to make up for it (They hardly do)

That same ren'py style you see is really hit or miss but mostly miss iwl, i feel like the problem is the hair and eyes it kinda freaks you out when you see it most of the time

Models. not so much, but the same voice line over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and again is by far the worst thing
For fuck sake you can't go 10 seconds without hearing this fucking voice line from NCR Troopers
