If "taking seriously" means immersing myself into the story if it's good, then maybe so. Otherwise I treat it like any other movie / book.
i like the comunity being between quotes - as in not a real comunity? After getting to know the NSFW gaming community, I realized that a lot of people are really invested in these games, and while I can see the artistic and sometimes philosophical value in some, I see these games primarily as a way to "release stress", so I became interested in knowing how the "community" in general views these games
I got to see people whining about ntr in a fangame, where the characters weren't even a canon couple. I just couldn't bare how stupid it was.I genuinely don't intend to be insulting when I say this, but I was pretty shocked when I learned that there are people who will quit a game if NTR is added, even if avoidable. I guess some people like to really put themself in the protagonists place and get really attached to the girls they're playing with
I may be a barbarian but I pretty much just want to see them getting fucked, I don't really care who by. It's pornography to me, not an emotional investmentI got to see people whining about ntr in a fangame, where the characters weren't even a canon couple. I just couldn't bare how stupid it was.
First, saying you dont intend to be insulting does not stop what you say from being insulting!I genuinely don't intend to be insulting when I say this, but I was pretty shocked when I learned that there are people who will quit a game if NTR is added, even if avoidable. It's a skill based thing IMO. The better the quality the better the reaction and lasting effect. That said, personally, once I complete a game it gets archived and seldom ever revisited. They are a momentary thing. After getting to know the NSFW gaming community, I realized that a lot of people are really invested in these games, and while I can see the artistic and sometimes philosophical value in some, I see these games primarily as a way to "release stress", so I became interested in knowing how the "community" in general views these games
