Depends on the general concept of the story but most times

Almost always. Unless something grabs me super quickly I'm mostly there for the lewd content.

well I pick my games so there isnt crazy amounts of dialog cause I want to experience the story but I dont want the need to read a book so normaly I dont skip it.

Sometimes if i'm down bad but when i wanna injoy the story i read it

depends on the genre usually, if it's clearly meant to just be smut then yes, but i usually read through most of them if i there's clearly effort put into the story.

There are games with terrible storylines but great animations that I only skim through, but there are also those with good storylines but mediocre graphics and animations (or a lack thereof) that I wouldn't skip through.

I rarely skip dialog. Might do it if I'm close, and I've already played the game before.

Usually depends on the game for me. Sometimes, the story takes me in, while the arts pretty good as well. Other times, I just download it to get to the scenes. Usually, first impressions help.

Only for parts i replay, or if the story takes me to some lengthy dialogs about stuff that seems to be unimportant and uninteresting.

Normally reading the text adds to the context - the world building, the power structures, the relations, the feeling that the sex is risky or forbidden or in some way justified or consequential. A good game adds that on top of good depictions of steamy action, not only as text but also visually and via sound.

it depends, some game developers decide to write the entire damn bibles worth of text before even giving a hint of actual porn, in those cases I hold the skip button like there's no tomorrow

If the story is sexy or romantic no
If the story is meaningless or all of it is lore shit yes
If the story is meaningless and graphics are below average delete

Rarely. If the game has boring or useless text just to fill time before cutscenes, then yes. Other than that, not much

I'm curious to what others do when playing H-Games. Do you tend to mash space/left click to get through a lot of the dialogue, maybe stopping at some parts, or do you take the time to read everything? I tend to mash through the early parts of games at least, then maybe slow down after a while.
if theres a lot of dialogue i just turn on my auto clicker but theres games with good dialogue thats very important to read
