discussion Do you skip through dialogue to get to the sex in games?

I'm curious to what others do when playing H-Games. Do you tend to mash space/left click to get through a lot of the dialogue, maybe stopping at some parts, or do you take the time to read everything? I tend to mash through the early parts of games at least, then maybe slow down after a while.

I skip around 10 % i try to read it all but if I feal it is starting to ramble I will skip a bit.

I only skip if I've already read the section in question for whatever reason (e.g. I loaded a save to try out an alternate route).

Otherwise, if the writing ain't worth reading the game ain't worth playing.

I’ve learned how to master speed reading to where I spam the space bar and read the text as soon as it pops up before disappearing. I typically don’t use the Ctrl key to skip all text unless I’m desperate to climax and can’t make it through an essay lol

No. They're Adult Visual NOVELS (well, more novellas). If the story sucks or I just don't like the tone of it (lots of brutality/rape, for example), even if the characters look cute and the art is terrific, I'll bounce it without a second thought, whether I've seen all the available scenes or not.

It depends on the game but I probably skip the text on about 50% of the games I play. It has to be really good to make me want to read the whole thing oh and have lots of sex scenes.

I try to give it a chance but end up skipping 25%, Some games just have horrible filler content but great renders.

Absolutely not, if I wanted to just see the good parts I would watch a porno or check out some still images, part of the fun is in the story. the only time I mash is with games that have absolute shit writing. Like in my dorm when the main character has a date and it’s so dogshit talking about some stuff i give zero damns about.

I probably skip about 50% of the dialogue, depending on the length of the game. If the game is short, I skip almost all of the dialogue, but if it's long and involves clicking and pointing, I skip a few dialogues.

Always read. Until the story starts to suck then might start to skip.

For VN's, If you aren't going to read it then you have to question why are you even playing it. I'll skip a lot of repeatable grind scenes in Sandboxes but thats about it
