Predominantly male MC - I'll play a fem MC if it's a lesbian game and it's written by a woman - most men cannot write from a female perspective. It's just cringeworthy for the most part.

In my own AVN it's an male MC but the main female lead gets almost the same screen time.

I play both male and female MCs. I like both, I will even say I enjoy an FMC more in many cases because of the different perspective it offers.
In rpgs, Skyrim, Fallout and Bannerlord etc. I always chose an FMC.

I have as of last night sworn off of female MCs. Very often, I go to a LIVE porn game site (no links as per the website rules) to try before I download a game, usually skipping text to get a sense of the first few chapters.

And what I got was again... AGAIN... an F-MC... that fucks old, fat, ugly, sometimes all 3, LI. Half the time... via rape. I can't do it. I can't have my character fuck Freddie Krueger wannabes. I know I going to miss out on some good F-MC games... but the average F-MC games are horror shows man (or I've had shitty luck... but it's just not worth risking it again).

Side note = Do you guys think the F-MC devs like humiliating women characters? Or is that how old/fat/ugly that the dev's see us and expect us to self insert into the LI and not the F-MC? Not really expecting an answer because, as I said, I'm basically done F-MCs.

i haven't seen many scenes/variations/plot in porn i'd do as a lesbian haha, imo female writers who does lesbo-orgies suck, they just can't do it "correctly" or smth, i've read a lot of lesbian novel/manga/comix/stories, and like 99% of them are boring ngl, it's like they got a single default prompt and follow it directly without creativity

I prefer female characters, because why in the world would you like to look at someone's swollen/fat dick, it's gay and gross, eewww

upd. i dislike heterosexual porn, it's also gross and disgusting, i love homosexual lesbians, that's it!!! or when they look like siblings/sister x brother, it's hot, ngl.

Same. Seems to me like 90% of all FMC games just has a FMC whose personality can be summed up as "corruptable" with literally 0 other traits.

The title really says it all. Personally I do care. So far, I have never looked at a VN that has a female MC. I'm not necessarily being sexist, I just find it difficult to relate to a story where the MC is anything other than male. More to the point, though: how do you feel about the sex of your MC ?

Another thing, Im getting tired of visual novels. Im only playing games that you can really interact with. Be it a management system, or a real 3d character. Im getting bored of clicking to see images, sadly. I think I played too much?

I got burnt out on VN's sometime last year and only really got back into them this January. I think it's good to take a break every so often and come back when a lot of games have been updated.
