Male, always. I don't mind a female protagonist per se, but pretty much all games with a female protagonist center around being raped, humiliated and submissive.

I don´t care.
Most games I play is as a male MC.
If there is a choice, with same content, I choose female. Cause I like to look at female more than to look at male.

Ironically it does bother me even though i like futa/trans content. I played a few as female protaganist but the feeling is just different. Didnt really like the jist of it, maybe how the main character speaks, thinks and stuff. Maybe i dont like how female protaganists were commonly portrayed not just in VNs but in medias in general

The title really says it all. Personally I do care. So far, I have never looked at a VN that has a female MC. I'm not necessarily being sexist, I just find it difficult to relate to a story where the MC is anything other than male. More to the point, though: how do you feel about the sex of your MC ?

It depends, but as a rule of thumb I prefer male MC.

When there's an option to chose (hetero male or lesbian female) I always go for male because I like sex being the having a penis type.
But if the game is female MC only, I don't mind. I usually prefer male MC for the variety on girls, and most female MC are kinda slow burn, so I'm a little biased, but I'd play either way.

I don't really care if the MC is male or female, as long as the story and character development is well written I'll play either.
