Honestly I hate it when I am into a game then I discovere the game wants me to actually grind levels and do alot of shit to advance.
I don't want the porn to be handed to me but I don't want to be grinding and team building and all of that, I am not here for that.

Grinding, 100% hate.
If a game was Souls-like difficulty/resets, 100% don't want that in my porn game.

As long as I can feel like I'm making forward progress it's fine.

I meant as grinding or just super unforgiving, only game I gave a pass was black souls because I am a dark souls fan

I don't mind doing quest but don't repeat the grind by waking up, showering, making breakfast, working, eating lunch, etc.

Depend if it is used alongside gradual interactions and relationship progress or if it is there to just extend playtime without anything meaningful happening. Unfortunately it's usually the 2nd option.

Difficult and grindy as fuck are not one in the same. Difficult games are ones that take some time, decision-making, or some keyboard/mouse skills to beat. Grinding doesn't make a game more or less difficult. It just makes it take more time to progress forward. I personally enjoy a little grinding if it adds to immersion and realism, but it get out of hand with some games.

There's a game called Keystroke that requires you to type out sentences super fast without error to see content. Total sadistic dev that one....

I've gotten more and lazier as I've gone. It went from avoiding sandboxes to wanting a walkthrough mod and gallery showing different paths I could have taken. Still, I do enjoy a good plot with options.

Any VN or RPGM type game that tries to shoehorn a reflex-based challenge into their game loses points in my book. I don't mind a reasonable bit of grinding or turn based combat, but if i need to put all hands on deck in terms of attention on not losing to a final boss in my dumb porn game, I'm gonna be stressed and annoyed, because as implied, most of us are playing these games one-handed
