For generic background artwork, I actually enjoy AI artwork. But for main characters, important visuals, I prefer the human touch. It adds a certain...something. A sense of soul that you don't see in AI . Also, I still find AI artwork to usually have a sense of the uncanny valley or proportions that are sublty off in some way.
Nope, sure some look good but most look like low effort Frankenstein and uncanny valley.
Also, the fact it's mostly a mash up from existing artworks and it's flooding the internet search results with this stuff which makes it difficult to find the real deal.
It depends, there are some people doing good things, and a lot of people making slop, and even every so often an actual artist using it like a tool.
There's this one artist who is a collage artist, who started to use AI to make specific elements that they would then cut out and use.
They are currently turning their previous work into a 90s cartoon with the video ai
I like AI art, if it is explicitally stating that it is AI art. I want to look at someones work and go "wow they put so much effort and skill into it" and not have to go "hmm did an AI make this". I want to enjoy both the creative freedom of AI and the skill expression of real art.
Yes, I like it. No man is able to draw so well, so realistically and so fast. Only artists who lose their jobs because of AI complain about this. Modern Luddites.
i like it seeing good ai artwork usually, but i do get annoyed seeing ai artwork as i like to follow artists and i don't feel like i gain anything from following an ai artist
