Luck is the most important thing in the world, even though many won't admit it.

not really. believing in luck is done by gamblers. faith has nothing to do with luck. I've observed the world long enough to know chaos reigns, whether there is a plan. I'll leave that up to the philosophers.

Nothing is planned, but there's no true free will either. We just live like there is because we have no choice.
We're just a human-shaped bunch of atoms, and that's perfectly fine. Happiness is just another evolutionary trait, but who cares? Everybody deserves to be happy; that's all that matters.

There are certain things in life that are out of our control and end up falling to randomness or luck. But I feel part of life is working to decrease the amount of luck you depend on. Find ways to change things, give yourself more skills and opportunities so if something falls through you have a backup. And whatever you do, don't try to make your life more reliant on luck. If you decide to go to Vegas and gamble away your whole fortune that is on you at that point...

I believe there is a "mechanism" in each of us that we interpret in the wrong way as being luck or destiny. Also, where many seek answers about this in the brain, I think these are to be found in the heart

Luck is both fake and real. Fake in the sense that there's a cosmic entity influencing your life but real in that factors affect your life and are hard to predict if you're not connected to your environment.

I like the saying "Success is when opportunity meets preparation."
Mainly because it acknowledges "luck" exists but minimises its role and impact on how we should act.
Every opportunity is meaningless if you lack the preparation to take advantage of it.
And preparation doesn't matter if your denied the opportunity i.e. "unlucky".
But we would never (I hope) encourage people to not prepare simply because they could be unlucky.
I think in general, Luck and Predeterminism are comforting to embrace specifically because they tell us that there's nothing we can do; everything is preset and we just follow the tracks as they're laid because we can't change it regardless.
I personally like to reject both concepts because of probatio diabolica; we will never find evidence for predeterminism or luck being real, immutable forces, which can be used to both support and oppose their existences. In which case, why even let them cloud your decision making - don't get caught up in trying to conventionally "win"; live the life you want to live and do everything you can do (or want to do) to achieve that.

Freedom of choice in a universe that have a god level 'thing' in it is just delusional logically. In scientific way, I can't be %100 sure but I choose to believe in determinism. The only counter arguments to that is just some quantum mechanics that we, as humanity, just discovered and feel like don't understand the "cause-result" chain in it. As a result most of the people assume some things are just occurring out of some random probability. Even if that's the case. It still doesn't prove that it can affect macro world with perceivable difference since everything (literally everything) and every cure that humanity developed based on this basic universal rule. I also think even some scientists have eager like bias to find a proof that free will exist.

And it's literally not like that in Islam. Islam does offer freedom of will in the concept of Divine Will and Human Will and have a whole theory called "Kasb". Of course all religion based free will theories are bit freak. But if you believe in it, you should at least read what the book tells you dang
