I don't see censored as better than nothing. Korea is that true in SOUTH Korea? I would figure for North Korea, but then a lot of supposedly free countries are like N Korea when it comes to porn, especially certain kinds. I'm looking at you, Australia. India is also supposed to be like that about any porn at all - though guys there download a lot (and ask women for bob and vegana pics.)

Yeah, South Korea has also extremely strict laws about anything sexual (less so than China, but a lot more than the western countries). Censored at least gives you a peek into the imagination of the author (hentai, for example) and it dangles the hope that someday the censorship could be removed. Iirc, Japan has a few laws in debate to reduce or remove completely the censorship on porn. Still years from any conclusion, but the hope remains.

I can agree with this.

Hillside is a good example. Very littke sexual content, but IMO a good story and decent characters.

Censorship on the other hand is the worst. I hate censhorship, it's even more annoying when a creator doesn't have to censor but they choose to. I'm not a creator myself, so perhaps there is more to censorship at times, but I still despise it

You know the sad part? We don't know what the creator is actually facing, so indeed we hate on them when the censor something. But we have no idea what their local laws are, what platform are they using for funding (like no incest on patreon) or if they have some personal circumstances.
For example, there was a game called Casting Agent where you played as a guy that gets heartbroken by a vindictive woman, so he starts a career into movie casting to roleplay as Harvey Weinstein (with everything that involves). At some point, the author had something happen in their personal life and they decided they cannot write that kind of content anymore. Can you really blame them?

I understand what your saying. For myself atleast, I can say that I don't hold it against the creator, not publicly that is. If I hate that a creator censors their work, I keep it to myself, there is no need to drag them publicly. Like you said, you never know what's going on with the other side.

Censorship laws just seem so out of hand across the world. If anything censorship increases deviance over time. The more you repress people, the more they want to fight back in more ways than one.

Exactly, you got my point. A creator is free to do whatever they feel they need to do in order to feel safe with their work. At the same time, we are free to avoid consuming said work if it doesn't fit our expectations.
And yes, censorship is a really bad political take, no matter the context or what is censored. Unfortunately, we still have plenty of people to support it, so the laws are still there.

that's an understandable sentiment. I think it's unfair that someone couldn't follow a creative passion because of their countrys laws.

There are a lot of really good artist in countries like Japan and South Korea. It blows hard when they have to censor their work, even though it's really good art. Can't really blame the artist for censorship.

In my opinion, censored AVNs and KNs should not be allowed on this site. The censorship undermines the immersive experience that users are looking for and detracts from overall enjoyment.

Censored ones I'm not a fan of, ones that have no sexual content can be ok/good but only if they make that clear at the start. I don't want to grind in a game for no content if I don't know that's the premise of the game.

Yeah, you have a point. This site, and sites like this one, has a theme and if it doesn't follow that theme it kinda sticks out as not belonging. Doesn't mean it shouldn't be here though. It's up to the owners.

I'm not aware why some kind of cosorship occurs - but when i see that japanese porn blurs out the sexual organs but shows orgies where women are lying on mattresses ordered perfectly in a gym hall an the guys on top penetrating them - that is somehow confusing me - when looking at non porn contend: In europe you can see that in some countries in some time periods it seemed to be almost a mandatory trend, that at least one scene has to show bare breasts of a woman or even full nudity and in the USA productions you see violence with guns and knives where you can see a lot of details how they get massacred but almost no nudity. I'm pretty confused as some european countries are deeply influenced by catholic values but still show a lot nudity including violoence and on other parts of the world they exaggerate violence like in the USA. I'm curious what is the root cause in the corrsponding meassures in showing sexual/violent contend... for me it is hard to backtrace these nuances between violence, porn and non-porn contend, because they cannot be justified only by moral or religeous reasons, because somehow they contradict each other.

No sexual content needs a very strong thematic connection to a tag to be merited on a site like this, there are a few. Also merited if there are mods available to add sexual content in.
Censorship is going to be down to the individual, what kind of censorship can you fill in the gaps for yourself? Even if all the imagery is gone then you presumably still have a text based porn game, there are quite a few of those around that people enjoy.
