Censored games and games with no sexual content

I am just wondering what people think of games on the sites like here that have no sexual content in them or that they have the content censored. I personally dont see the point in them as one of the reason we come here is to play games that have sexual content in them that you can see.

There's a ren'py VN called "A Summer's End — Kong, 1986".
It offers zero lewd content originally, there's a patch that either unlocks or adds a few moderately erotic images, and you don't get any more than that.
Yet it's one of the most beautiful, atmospheric, sensual and overall impressive games I've ever played.
So the story and design are worth their weight in gold.

With a well-developed plot and having equally well-written characters, the sexual component is secondary to me. The sensuality plays a more important role.
As for censorship - it's an attribute of Japanese games, isn't it? I don't like them (I don't like the graphics, it annoys me).

I agree, this is better than Japanese style censored nudity.

I get censorship to an extent, but at the same time i don't. Like you're making porn and they're having sex, why blur it? it's just always baffled me.

Two things I check before downloading a game. If I see those tags, I don't download the game.

Well I played a few games that only showed tits with hardly any porn, and they were good to play.

Censorship mostly happens with Japanese games and developers trying to sell their games on Steam or Epic.

Sex is essential for developing good romantic feelings. If the game focuses very much on the basic story, ignoring all emotional and romantic relationships between the characters, then I say it's okay if there is no sexual content. Censored games, on the other hand, are a piece of shit.
