Lots of great movies mentioned, hard to think of something original. So I'll say that for whatever reason, I actually enjoyed Hot Shots Part Deux. I think because Lloyd Bridges as the President is so far fetched, you would never have a President that is *that* senile! hahahaha! What a silly movie.

I loved the recent Willow series on Disney+, Fuckem for literally deleting it from the service. I'm okay with it not getting renewed, but shoot Willow with a flamethrower was :chefskiss.

I think for story content the original of these ones are good but overall, all of these sequels are better than the original Underworld, Resident Evil, Matrix. Honestly is there even a single Franchise where the sequel isn't better than the original before they over do it and start producing shit?

Ghostbusters 2 is ironically the best of the sequels. Afterlife was a well-intentioned kids movie with member berries, Frozen Empire is the worst sequel in a franchise since the Last Jedi. The old guys are literally useless and saved by kids. And Bill Murray was in it for like 5 minutes. Yeah Winston suiting up was great so was Jeanine as a Ghostbuster. It had heart in places, but the story didn't hold together.

Of course Aliens, but I remember liking the firsts sequels of A Nightmare on Elm Street. I think A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors was the one I liked the most. Casino Royale was pretty good, the 20th sequel of James Bond. There are other top movies in the franchise (From Russia with Love, Goldfinger, Skyfall).
