Best movie sequels of all time!

They are so many!

- The Godfather
- Terminator 1-3
- Indiana Jones
- Alien(s)
- BTTF
- Star Wars 4-6
- Batman (Nolan)
- John Wick
- Die Hard 1-3

But the worst is Matrix Trilogy.

Matrix: 10/10
the other two: 1/10
The most shocking thing on your list is Terminator 3... and maybe Godfather 3 and Alien 3 if you meant to include them. I can't even remember Die Hard 3.... is that Die Hard...der er... I saw Get Hard (with Will Ferrel... but that was definitely unrelated). (Yes I am making posts to gain coins... but I am trying.)

T3 was cool because of Kristanna Loken, hehe!
GF3 was nice too, it's epic trilogy!
Alien I meant 1 and 2 and
DH3 was with S.L Jackson and Jeremy Irons - very nice!

I like Men in black 2 with beatbox scene

Terminator 2, one of the first movies, that I know of, where I broke the idea that second parts are never good.

Also The Dark Knight (2008), the best Joker of all.

Now i want to say: Face Down,Ass Up 2.
But i'm guessing it's not those movies you are talking about, so,,,,

Hmmmm Ehhhh Of all time is a hard ask ,, that would be just 1 or 2 movies and we all know them. Ones i liked and improved upon the original are all the sequels of these:
Lethal weapon , Highlander , Mortal Combat, Mad Max , Blade, Pitch Black/Riddick, Resident Evil, The Howling, Young Guns, Deep Blue Sea,

Not gonna go into the animation movies,,, cause there are a lot.

Tron Legacy should be in the convo for sure!
I struggle with Tron Legacy. I know it had an awesome soundtrack. I also know the pacing in the first movie was off, the story in the second movie felt disjointed from the first movie and didn't get me going at all. For me it felt meaningless. (I know harsh).

What did you love about it, besides the soundtrack?

outside of the obvious ones like the LotR/SW/ Aliens and T2 etc, i have to say though it isnt the greatest movie, Mummy Returns has always held a special spot in my heart

Godfather 2 was a fantastic follow up to an amazing movie

Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back was a pretty damn great movie back in the day, and still holds up now
agree on the godfather 2, such a good movie

Don't get me wrong, IK the story had its ups and downs. That being said though, for me, it was just one of those movies that hit just right. Im a sucker for father son moments in movies. Also to me its hard to separate a movies soundtrack from the movie, and imo that was one of the best. Also like the first movie I love how it showed the next age of CGI (granted clu was 100% down deep in the uncanny valley). Not to mention the fact no one in their right mind would think that there would ever be a sequel to Tron after a 30 year gap. For better or for worse it was one of the early trend setters of the many standards and practices we see today in the CGI dominated movies. If you will it is the Legacy of Tron Legacy.

EDIT: LMAO just now realized your username is Flynn!

Godfather Part 2, Aliens, and Terminator 2 are the classics. Avengers Endgame for my most current one.

Most of the obvious choices were already covered multiple times. One amazing movie I did not see was "Logan" with a close second being "X-Men: Days of Future Past" in the same series.

I'd go with The Empire Strikes Back. It was nice seeing Vader kick ass though I could have used the heroes being even more scared of him.
