Yeah I litterally just learned about the bank yesterday and I can't use it now

Actual participation were always better than bank interes

You better take whatever coins you have in the bank out now if you can, because in a few
days your bank account will completely disappear with all the coins inside of it.

I tested, your coins are kept there safe and once you have p1 you can use as usual

The only way to give people rewards for participation is to reduce the bank interest. A lot of people stopped seeing any value in being active on the site exactly because the bank makes anything else pointless. Even users without even M+ were posting 10 comments and waiting months for free coins. We want to bring more value to active users and to artists, so the higher you go the higher you earn coins from your posts and people reacting to your posts

Well I will say this, when I done my banana split contest, I couldn't even give the coins away because nobody wanted them.
So it would make the coins more valuable I suppose, if they are harder to come by.

So if I understand this right, we need at least P1 for the bank and interest? Any AC we have won't be affected, but any banked coins will be gone if we don't have at least P1 by the 27th?

Coins remain, and when you get access, still there. Just pull them out for now.

I'm pretty confused now. P1 is required even for people with P4? If I purchase P1 do I still need to remove all my coin from the bank?

Not a complaint, but maybe would be nice to have an announcement in the Site News & Annoucements forum with clear instructions before these kind of changes. Doesn't have to be forced. It's our fault if we don't read them.

And we used all this comments to make these changes. We want people getting more coins from their art (posting and receiving reactions give you more coins on prestige levels now).

Why not let people without p1 withdraw? Can't you raise interest for only p1 members or is that just not a thing you can do?

A lot of valid points are made with the changes here, but I fear that the effect will be that the people I engage with most often here on a regular basis will begin only posting in the p4 thread, and this thread will mostly dry up and the m+ and p1 threads will remain just as dry. Gonna make it harder for newer users in the end given they’ll have less people/posts to engage with. Especially those of us who aren’t so artistically gifted, but still want to participate in the community.

It's a bit concerning for activity to have numerous lurker threads to keep track of instead of having a go-to thread like this one. If the deal is that you get more ACs by participating in the higher tier sections, maybe instead higher ranks should give higher coin numbers irrespectively of section. That would avoid splitting attention.

Of course, my concern may be unfounded and people could be able to focus on numerous lurker threads just fine, but generally speaking I have little faith on people's attention spans..
