discussion Anti-Social & Lurker - Hideout spot

[User_114674]

Well I will say this, when I done my banana split contest, I couldn't even give the coins away because nobody wanted them.
So it would make the coins more valuable I suppose, if they are harder to come by.

And we used all this comments to make these changes. We want people getting more coins from their art (posting and receiving reactions give you more coins on prestige levels now).

It’s less useful than getting post reactions.

Coins remain, and when you get access, still there. Just pull them out for now.

I think p4 will be able to access, but why not get p1?

Well I got it now...

[Jaeson]

So if I understand this right, we need at least P1 for the bank and interest? Any AC we have won't be affected, but any banked coins will be gone if we don't have at least P1 by the 27th?

Replying to myself because I was looking at the shop. Buying P1 with AC is permanent and NOT monthly or yearly like the other options?

[User_24645]

Sup doods, time to get this bread

[Underlord]

Wow -- we don't have one of those-- yet ...................................... better hurry if you want to be the first -- I think @Underlord has a bit of a head start.

There are several items that are offered for LC as well as premium currency. They should have the currency used in their name.

Welp shit. Missed while on phone and i am grinding for member+ and it is going slow as i dont want to spam same cat pics for simpathy points...missing 226 at best if they dont increase price....

[gdrgrdgrd]

@gdrgrdgrd
You better take whatever coins you have in the bank out now if you can, because in a few
days your bank account will completely disappear with all the coins inside of it.

I already did I ain't taking any chances

Fair enough, it's more fun to write in here anyway

Actual participation were always better than bank interes

I tested, your coins are kept there safe and once you have p1 you can use as usual

Why not let people without p1 withdraw? Can't you raise interest for only p1 members or is that just not a thing you can do?

[Olive]

Couldn’t sleep and did some backreading lol

A lot of valid points are made with the changes here, but I fear that the effect will be that the people I engage with most often here on a regular basis will begin only posting in the p4 thread, and this thread will mostly dry up and the m+ and p1 threads will remain just as dry. Gonna make it harder for newer users in the end given they’ll have less people/posts to engage with. Especially those of us who aren’t so artistically gifted, but still want to participate in the community.

[mikeross]

It's a bit concerning for activity to have numerous lurker threads to keep track of instead of having a go-to thread like this one. If the deal is that you get more ACs by participating in the higher tier sections, maybe instead higher ranks should give higher coin numbers irrespectively of section. That would avoid splitting attention.

Of course, my concern may be unfounded and people could be able to focus on numerous lurker threads just fine, but generally speaking I have little faith on people's attention spans..

[gdrgrdgrd]

Agreed. Check the m+ and p1 versions as well!

I'll have to unlock them first

They can. That’s the plan.

Alright then it all makes sense to me. I think i agree with the system too, to get more activity

I've seen inside your vault. Wall-to-wall coins, you filthy liar.

[ErzuzB]

No plan to increase the m+ pricing!

But you did.
Indirectly by lowering the amount of coins earned from anything.

If an apple costs $1, but you cut wages in half, you have essentially doubled the price of the apple.

Morning guys, how is everone look The bank is going away

[Olive]

I hope not and expect they’ll be here. It’s the climbers that will go up. Your friends with all the ranks will be everywhere, not needing the coins.

And you can enjoy the art, even if you don’t make it! Comments on art get likes too!

I also hope not, but just pointing out what realistically is likely to happen. Those already with all ranks, sure they’ll be unaffected just like with all other changes, as they no longer need coins. But their time will be stretched thinner with four semi active threads vs. one very active thread.

Those with P4 saving for P5, why would they post here for less coins vs. in the P4 thread? “Just post everywhere and it’s more coins total” which is true, if you have time to be active every day enough to backread four separate lurker threads. If it were me, I’d start with the P4 thread, read, react, and post, and ignore the rest if pressed for time. It’s less coins unless you live here.

No hate and I know it is hard to balance, just making the point. It’s like trying to climb a tree that keeps growing faster than you can climb it, with a bunch of people who climbed it when it was a sapling just sitting on top like

It's a bad bad idea, every Lurker will have much harder time to earn coins.
