Everything I read said it was limes.
I'll probably go for the Dark Rum version if I can't find the cachaca.
The "caipirinha" is indeed limes (Or lemons, I dont know the difference. Here it's the same name. Hahaha)
But if you Google like "caipirinha de kiwi" you'll get this:
caipirinha-de-kiwi-classica-1.jpeg

Like I always say, we love to change recipes, and our own are no different.
You want to swap the lemon for a banana? No problem!
It wouldn't be the same (I tried, it gets a milky texture, not so refreshing), but you can! :ROFLMAO:

I got kicked out of church school for disputing Jonah and the whale story, that comic checks out!
Fortunately since my family don't even go themselves, I was never forced to go to one. Just went to some for marriages and stuff.

From what I have experienced, it's just not a ceremony.
You can still get a marriage license through the state and chagge names if you want to.
My marriage was just on paper. I'm too broke for a ceremony.

So if two people don't take the intentional act of getting married, but sufficiently hold themselves out to be married, the government can make that decision for them. I happen to know some older adults who are in a long-term relationship and usually say they're "married" because they prefer it to boyfriend/girlfriend, but for financial/estate planning reasons aren't interested in actually being married. This is the US law mind, different countries have different requirements and consequences. To be fair, this has some utility when you have people who were married on paper but the paper is lost for some reason, like they were married in a country that no longer exists, or immigration related familial determinations where again the people might be in a determined relationship but the foreign country doesn't recognize their marriage for whatever reason. However as applied to two people who have no obstacle to getting married on paper and choose not to it's completely asinine.
That's useful in some cases. Like I have friends who have had relationships for 10+ years, and it's not that they don't want to marry (one friend was even engaged for 5 years. Hahaha) but it's already kinda a cultural issue for more younger generations postpone those official things, so they end up not oficially marrying, even if lots of them already live like a married couple. But let's say there's an accident and one of them dies, I do think the partner is more deserving of any inheritance, pensions and such to their family (I always was against people who treat family like it's the best thing ever. Mine's good, but I've know parents who were shitty to their kids, so they weren't deserving of even a penny of the children).

Backreaders are not really worth it anymore just keep yapping and banking it is more stable than those reacts.
They barely even give me 2k. Just have ton of coins in the bank they will make you more coins than reacts.
Eventually you can go back to lurking if you choose to.
Too bad you can't use LC to buy a new personality.
Green lanterns power is much cooler (also green is by far favorite color) he's got more flaws to make him more relatable.

Superman is great, but the fact you need a world or universe villain to actually have a chance against him gets boring.
Sorry, but after the movie, Green Lantern is a joke character now.
From that site

That state list is also illustrative, you have 16/51 jurisdictions (including the federal District of Columbia, for our non-US friends that's not technically a state but is the capital region so it has a comparable population) that still recognize it, and of those 5 already have laws phasing it out.
I actually know a few people common law married and one that just recently got divorced.
None of them were 'forced' to be married. They all called themselves married, live together and file jointly.
Except the divorced girl, of course. But the ex and her are friendly, so divorce was mutual.

It's the same assholes who suggested some people would be marrying turtles and dogs if gay marriage was legal!

Fuck that would be a slow ceremony.

You could set that up with contracts specific to those issues if you don't want to be married, which is how I think it should work generally anyway.

If they know about it then it can be worked with, but the cost of not having it is that those people would have to drive down to the courthouse one afternoon and sign a marriage form, versus the cost of a couple not knowing about it and having it apply being that two people who had no idea they would be treated as married are treated as married, including for some crimes like bigamy. Which is ultimately my point, if two people can get married on paper there's no reason not to just expect they will do that if they want the government to recognize their marriage.

You know I went back and watched it again, and the movie is actually not horrible. But the movie suit is still terrible. Ryan Reynolds has the right appearance, but the wrong attitude for it.

But I just said, it's not that they don't want to marry, they just postpone things indefinitely.
Take wills, for example, no one that I knew that died had one...

Here someone can go into court to be declared married even if the other party doesn't want to, provided there are proof that they lived as a marriage couple. I've never seen someone be surprised when that happens, because it only happens if they already acts like it.

I'm off to bed.

When he's with everyone else in the Justice League he's treated as a joke, but he's definitely stronger than most members

Was it from Corner Gas? Just watched an episode were they talked about how everyone over 30 measures height in feet and inches
Sounds possible.

Probably actually.

My memory says it was actually from the 80s or 90s... but... my memory is usually wrong about such things
To even receive a single reaction from an old post, makes me happy. I wake up some days with more than 30 reactions. When my bank account was under 4 ciphers, that helped me a lot to keep growing.
Pretty much this.

50 LC (10 posts) take about 6 months to go to 4 digits with bank interest alone, and P4 takes a year.

Getting reactions boosting you to 4 ciphers means you shave off half the time... possibly more. Took me about 3 months to get in P4 range.
I just think the government shouldn't do formal marriages at all. If people want to have the same last name, have joint tax filing or joint bank accounts they can do that, but there's no reason we need to formally put two people together until they formally separate. We can have a standard contract for setting up all the sickness/death related benefits marriage does now if people want to do that. And don't get me started on common law marriage.
I think it's all just a holdover from alimony (if I got the word right).

Married? Cool. You split? The partner gets half of everything plus a check for like... forever (in some countries).

It's all about the money. There are now countries in progress (or maybe it's actually law now) to make prenups illegal.
That's right. They cheat. They break up. They get your money anyways. Piece of paper be damned.
Is there a way to be together for X years and go "see ya" on both sides with no checks? It's pretty rare I think. Might actually be nowhere on Earth.

I could very well be wrong and it's experience and bitterness talking. I'll give you that.

...there are places...
...where we CAN'T marry turtles and dogs?
😢

My marriage don't have communion of goods, so each one have their own bank account and possessions.
