3 Years of Service
We had cubicles with fixed desks, but there were communal closets to use. Everyone stored extra clothes there. I had a bunch of extra ties in my desk drawer too. You're fortunate to have a space, my office does "hoteling" since people work from home, so no one except the most senior partners get to have offices, everyone else fights for deskspace
For the first little while I'd do WFH naked since that's how I sleep, but I was always paranoid I'd accidentally turn on the camera so I started wearing a shirt and jeans, or at least underwear.I was at a Wedding a few weekends ago, and I get chatting to some guy I don't know - sound guy, good to chat to - but at one point he says "you know how, even though you're working from home, you get dressed for work?" and I was immediately lost.
People do that?!
I feel this way too, I still dress up more than my colleagues when we are meeting clients just because I'm used to it. Although now it's techbro formal, ie polo shirt and khakis.honestly? when I'm not wearing a suit I'm naked, that's me, after decades it's just natural
