I had a teams Job Interview a Year ago, I wore my Shirt and Tie to the Video Call. The Hiring Manager laughed at me - that's how I knew I was a good fit for this place haha.


When I first started working from home, I thought "Great! I'll use my Laptop from bed"
Then I realised that, in bed, I can't fight naps. I once fell asleep during a Teams meeting...

I wore a suit to my video interview for this job, the interviewer had a T-shirt and windbreaker. I felt a little silly.

I couldn't use my laptop from bed for work, how would I farm rare mobs on my PC during Teams meetings?

I was at a Wedding a few weekends ago, and I get chatting to some guy I don't know - sound guy, good to chat to - but at one point he says "you know how, even though you're working from home, you get dressed for work?" and I was immediately lost.
People do that?!

Right? I was on a call the other day, and I suddenly realized my boss and her boss were both on video. My boss NEVER turns on video. So I very quickly had to throw on a dress shirt and align my computer to a neutral background so I could turn my video on. Not fun.

I've done the sudden "on camera" scramble before too. The worst is when you're in a different part of your home and it's like "shit, I need to run to my office now, whilst getting dressed along the way, and not look flushed in the face by the time my camera is on".

I 100% believe there is nobody in the world that Works from Home and sits at their desk attentively all day, 9 - 5.
Until the other week, when I was talking to my friend, and he says his Wife does this. Barely steps away. But then, she just started a new job, so it might be about good impressions...

Well this day has started off with a bang. Ups misrouted one of our packages we were shipping to Qatar a few weeks ago. Been dealing with that shit for almost 2 weeks now. I've called Ups multiple times and sent emails constantly trying to figure out what's going on with this package. This fucking guy at Ups this morning in a email tells me I need to contact Ups. My jaw fucking dropped. I told him aren't you Ups or are you just some random fucktard with a Ups email. They have openly said we fucked up in the beginning and now they are acting like they did nothing wrong. It just fucking irritates me and no one else here at work is doing anything about. Cause none of them have the spine or balls to say something other than the politician route and be like " so what can we do to help you " when they need to say listen fuckers you fucked up now fix this shit......

Yeah it's not much currently. I deposited a bit over 1.8k into it yesterday. In total with the additional ones i earned since then its over 2.2k
Every penny of interest counts imo so I'll try to make the most out of it. Also will only deposit new income once the interest arrived of course as to not reset the timer beforehand
