Yeah - they only tore down the iron gates of Isengard and ripped through a mountain tunnel - opening it to the sky, marched a forest to Helm's Deep that swallowed and destroyed an entire Uruk-Hai army, selectively dammed and released a river, and a few other things.

Yeah, they did. After the majority of the ents were already gone.
There were only like 40 of them left and they destroyed and flooded Isengard and even protected Rohan in the books.
But, they also just let Saruman wipe out a bunch of ents and most of the forest. It was Merry and Pippen that finally convinced them to fight.
Also, they did not destroy the entire Urak-Hai army. The army was mostly at Helm's Deep!
The ents did not go to Helm's Deep. They fought the remnants and rear guard in Isenguard (Saruman's Tower) Whom were men and orcs.

I could careless if they do or don't have the kiosks. My problem is in my area these same people that have kiosks and automated stuff to do their jobs not long ago were demanding whining crying threatening to strike if they didn't get 20 plus bucks an hour to work at these fast food restaurants. For what if you have all these things doing your job for you, you don't need to be paid that damn much

They have those kiosks so they can fire the tellers and make more profit. And, where I live, they don't make $20, I think they are around $12-14 right now.
Still, all kiosks inside.

I get the same feeling at grocery store self-checkout. When I used to live in a city there was always a line and half the people would spend 2-3 times as long per item than the other half. It wasn't always old people either.

In the supermarket I usually go there are self checkout and regular ones, so the self checkout usually is not crowded, and the ones that don't know how to uses it go for the others.
And the old women I was complaining about wasn't that old, but she was also with children, and each child didn't know what they wanted.

Bud I have never heard of anyone running into as many issues like that with the kiosks that's just some real shit luck right there. Plus a dash of "they don't pay me enough to care" from the employees there.

I'm no expert, but I believe in the States a lot of workers that have the strictest policy on sick days also have less good health insurance through work, so getting a doctor's note might cost several hundred dollars. Even if it justifies the day/days off, it might be hard to afford a doctor's visit. Especially if you're obviously sick (diarrhea, for example) but there's really nothing to do but let it pass. So you pay for a confirmation that you're sick and you need to stay home and drink water.

I never had problem with it, and here the system and scales are the same between the checkout lines, the only different is that one is a employee that operates and the other is yourself. Hahaha

Sauron cut the forest near Isengard, but the Ents atrophied of their own accord, having lost the Entwives - and it wasn't presented as though there had been terribly many to begin with. There were only about 40 depicted in the movie, you may recall, but more than 50 marched on Isengard, with Treebeard leaving after Gandalf's visit in the night, apparently leading the Huorns (tree creatures similar to, but not quite Ents, but that followed the commands of Treebeard) that went to Helm's Deep and wiped out the fleeing forces of Isengard - more than 10,000 had marched on Helm's deep, and it didn't seem that more than 1,000 had been killed off before they got there and then swallowed the fleeing army as Theoden and Aragorn rode out against them. Merry and Pippen told them the stories that led to the Entmoot, but the Ents themselves chose to fight - the scene depicted in the movie, where the Ents decide against war, is pure bunk - they chose war on the first vote.

But, in your estimate, 50-ish Ents tearing through a wall carved out of a mountain spur a minimum of 100 feet thick, and as much as 300 (trying to remember the descriptions in the book) and probably at least 50 to 100 feet high, isn't badass? Commanding an army that is a forest isn't badass? If anything, Jackson didn't do them near enought justice.

Unfortunately the health care system is far from perfect, one of the reasons being corruption, so if you have money, for some things it's better to just go to a private doctor. But having that as an options is awesome as it is!
