I always thought it is as you said a nudge nudge wink wink "hate" they had, but perhaps it's real and I just throw fuel onto that fire ever now and then.

It do makes sense for your country. Here the health care is free, so you can get a doctor note without spending money (there are long waiting times, but better than nothing

I would take that trade of long wait times for the very real chance of being put into crushing medical debt and or having to resort to a gofundme if developed a serious illness or recieved a serious injury

Unfortunately the health care system is far from perfect, one of the reasons being corruption, so if you have money, for some things it's better to just go to a private doctor. But having that as an options is awesome as it is!

I've been achievement hunting Dead by Daylight with some friends, but we've hit a roadblock, there's two achievements that have a 33% chance and a 20% chance of getting the map needed for them, add to it, the release of Dracula and the changes to The Knight, and it's incredibly hard to survive on those maps right now... Well, we'll get them someday.

Much better than cases of mine,
Enduring long wait times only to be denied medical services due to an inability to pay, they turn to their insurance company for help, only to be dismissed. Left with no other options, they take out loans that drive them into crushing debt. At this point, other people suggest buying a casket already and giving up because life itself has lost its meaning.
Welcome to the 3rd world.
