Mushoku Tensei is real good

finished shangri-la frontier no watching anything right now

Netflix recently added Great Teacher Onizuka if not mistaken, certainly give that a look.

From action shounen, my favorite would be Hunter X Hunter and FMA: Brotherhood.

Another classic, and a bit fucked up, would be Now and Then, Here and There. Often forgotten, but I have fond memories of it.
I believe not many know about that one either, that iseaki anime "Now and Then, Here and There. Thinking about it reminds me of Re:Zero in which being isekai'd sucked.

If one wants something fucked up, here's Midori aka "Chika Gentou Gekiga: Shoujo Tsubaki"

code geass is an absolute classic that has pretty good world building, good story, and good characters.

metallica rouge is a pretty new anime that involves these 2 girls trying to stop an android terrorist group. It has some nice fighting scenes and a relatively nice story.

Recommend good animes besides One Piece and other Shonen
Dr. stone. it brought to life one of my personal fantasy topics of becoming the Prometheus of a post -post apocalyptic earth.

One Punch Man seemed like it would be funny, it blew all expectations out of the water. Must watch
Season one was so amazing I loved it but season two was just okay for me. I'm excited for season 3 to hopefully return to its former glory.

Blue Exorcist! It was my first ever anime, even before watching deathnote (like every anime beginner), i fell in love the plot and the fun nature of the mc but his dark background and his conflicting thoughts..... it is just perfect. I think it was around 2019 when i came across it on netflix shortly before it got taken down. and it didnt make me more or less interested in this type of content, id say.

Attack on Titan without a doubt, I also really like K-on too (not a racist.)

Off the top of my head Hunter x Hunter, Monster, Legend of the Galactic Heroes, and GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka have been my favorites. I'm sure I'm overlooking some series I loved a long time ago, but those 4 are the ones that always come to mind when this question gets asked.

I like Steins;Gate
Really good anime, it starts off as a slow burn and than there is an explosion of excitement. It is so awesome

since nobody said it so far, gintama. Just unhinged comedy

A couple I haven't seen:
No Game No Life
Steins;Gate

And I'll have to second the Yu Yu Hakusho and Trigun recommendations from a couple posts above.

A Certain Magical Index and its spinoffs are also worth considering. (Railgun S has perhaps my favorite arc of all time, but I wouldn't recommend jumping straight to that as there's relevant background to know make the most of that arc!)
NGNL is so awesome, I was disappointed that only 1 season was made. Steins gat is awesome and Yu Yu Hakusho was probably one of my earliest anime I watched (loved it)

Gintama is not for everyone, I personally enjoyed it but that anime goes all over the place lol

Not a big anime guy though Cyberpunk Edgerunners was cool. If anyone knows of anime with that kind of action/ grit, I'm in
