Unfortunately you can't run a site like ATF without any help. So you will have to trust some people. And sometimes you trust the wrong one...

Because it is abnormal behavior. It is not normal at all to be attracted to kids, and thus it is a different kind of lifestyle you have to live if you are. One filled with paranoia, guilt, shame etc. Knowing you are one and never acting on it is noble, but it is also a life of constantly being tested, especially if you are a parent. I'm not one but I can sympathize with those that are for their struggle. It can't be easy.

And it's terrible in that there are many threads in there (at least from my recollection) that aren't about that topic at all. The dumb political threads are in there, as well as gooners looking for people to goon with are in there, as well as other just stupid topics. A lot of them aren't even serious and are just ragebait-y. The thing about bait is it almost always works. That's why I say it's a terrible place.

I haven't logged onto ATF in almost 2 years so I am not particularly sad to see it go, but that's just my opinion. The political threads in there have got to be pretty bad since I was last there pre-Trump 2.0, and I hated it then. It can only have gotten worse since, no matter where one might fall on the political spectrum. They also tended to have the most engagement since people are falling over themselves to get upset over things they can't change.

As one of the mods there for the game dev and game mod section, it does bring sadness to my heart to see the community having to spread out its' wings.
Perhaps it's better this way. But I can say that there's talk among the moderators for a potential solution. Nothing concrete yet.

I'm doing what I can to help and facilitate the content creators from the sections I moderate to help them settle into other communities as best I can.
Right now, I'm just trying to get to that elusive member+ access so that I can actually report what it all looks like and how it all works for those that need some kind of confirmation.

Hate to see it all go away I wondering where the games that arent finished yet going like Flatzcheez 3 even though anda is kinda a jerk. I still miss waiting 4+ years for an hour of more gameplay

I'm sad to see ATF closing, been there for awhile, mostly downloading games and videos. Was nice to get updates on games there. Hopefully this site can bring the same enjoyment for me eventually

I deleted my account but I didn't think to check what would happen with the skyrim and sims 4 mods, does anybody know if those are still going to be updated somewhere else or if they're done with them?
