if the vault was implemented less than 24 hours ago & there is a 24 hour cool down period to stop people from using it.
how are people using it already & having hundreds of thousands in interest if you can only have a max of 1000 coins in the vault with a max of 1% interest in each 24 hour period ?

Anyone experienced a failed hard drive? This is my first to go, and I'm currently using ddrescue to try and rescue what I can, but man it is not quick. 4 1/2 hours in with only 1.77% rescued... Could take weeks at this pace. There wasn't anything really important on it thankfully, just old family photos and documents from previous phones and whatnot, but I'd still like to save them regardless. Only used maybe 25% of the 1 TB drive.

Anyways, if you do have experience, is it typical for it to be so slow at the beginning? Can I expect it to speed up maybe? My main computer is locked down doing this, so I won't have it for however long this takes

I can't say I've seen a speed change - but maybe they have 50% for gathering data and 50% for putting into files.

Be glad it is not a 20TB drive.

losing a hard drive is always painful, a few days ago I had to use testdisk to recover some files I accidentally deleted, it's not the same but it was painfully slow, and the recovered data was RAW data, good luck

A reminder for everyone to backup their files, all drives fail sooner or later.

I was lucky and my hard drive failures were all on spinning rust, and happened gradually. Gave me enough time to buy a replacement and salvage things.

Now I just have a backup drive and hope I don't have simultaneous failures...

I've never had a hard drive failure, but I did have a laptop that eventually became a brick when unplugged from power. Not sure how exactly it happened, but thankfully, I was able to get everything off of it that I desperately needed

Ok, it appears they are going to finally make the activity coins 2.0 (now called lewdcoins) the default currency, with a converter for the old coins coming soon, and they took out the entire leveling and vault cap system they tried to setup yesterday (probably for the better, I think).

My only gripe is the vault rounding up the coins on it (I deposited 1500 coins, and it now says 1k, with no way to show the exact number anywhere), so yeah, it would be nice to have at least the option to disable that.
