So, I have a question regarding the currencies. The LC shop display says "Activity coins 2.0: 298" and "Activity coins: 308"
Are the 2.0 coins counted in the other coins, or are they seperate currencies?
When looking at the shop, it allows purchases in either currency, which further adds to the confusion.
it's a separate currency yes, you need to pay in one or the other. I don't know why they have two to be entirely honest, seems redundant to me but that's how it works

Yeah, especially when you earn both by being active. Seems like it might need to be looked at.

It was supposed to flip to the 2.0 coin after the year started, but it never happened.
The reason for this was because there where too many rich people, some with bililions of coins because the bank (now vault) had unlimited interests output.

Yeah, that makes sense. Adding the old inflated currency into the leaderboards would ruin the rankings completely. Still doesn't explain why we still earn the old currency, but I'm definetly not complaining about double income

Nothing to do with leaderboards, it was because back than new items got added to the shop from time to time, some with pointless cosmetic fluff and others that had actual stuff behind it.
Rich users could just buy it instantly, because their daily interests covered it without any issues and thus finding a price was difficult, because it was supposed to be affordable for new users but should not be a no-brainer for richer people. So the prices for some items and ranks were stupidly high... like they are right now too for other reasons. Because some few can easily make coins in the Lurker Thread, it is seen as the default income and thus the price is set so ridiculous high.
At least the price for Members+ was halfed, it was 5K not long ago. Can you even believe it was only 450 at the beginning of the year for permanent Members+?

Wha, 450 -> 5000 -> 2500 is wild, especially considering the fact that the problem seems more concentrated on the income in the lurkers thread than the actual economy.

Yes, it's confusing. There are two currencies. You can use either to buy some ranks.

Thats what ive seen, but i dont understand it. But maybe i will understand it later.
2.0 was supposed to succeed the other, but that never happened.

Both can be used for most things, but they cant be combined. So for member+, you need x amount of either, based on what member+ subscription you choose. Only the "1.0" version can be inserted to the vault though.

I also realised you earn both, well. i dont complain. even thought i dont understand it.

The reason for this is, that in the past people made huge amounts of coins with the vault (back than it was called bank), rich people got even richer and stuff like that.
Also the reason why 2.0 was supposed to replace the 1.0.

Had just expected the vault to be ported to 2.0 when fixed. But this double system is just weird.

I saw it and instantly gave up trying to understand it.
Its mostly the same UI, just shuffled quite a bit. Though I dont understand the XP system yet. Deposit, withdraw, claim. Those seem to be the same as before.

It also has the same annoying 500 minimum deposit as before.

Yea the xp system seems a little convoluted but looks like you get a decent amount of it per dep/with and interest. the 500 min is kinda annoying but since interest is only 1% for most it makes sense, why deposit less you're gonna get basically nothing
