What game, or games, do you have to mod to be able to enjoy playing them?

Opened the thread to see if I could get and hints on what games I have to go back to and mod (on the lewd side of things), and saw the first comment about Minecraft. Absolute Legend. Completely the same situation for me...

In terms of AVNs Karlsson's Gambit is one I do need the walkthrough mod for.

Civ 5 I've found after playing with mods I don't think I could ever go back, haven't tried Civ 6 with mods yet but I'm sure it's a similar experience. Shoutout to anyone who said minecraft because any technic pack modpack was GOATed.

Difficulty mods similar to Vox populi in Civ 5 or more content mods? I loved the mods that added a 3rd and 4th unique building/unit as well as additional civs.

i kinda mod based on moods so I dont have a set list. Its usually content mods but sometimes its entire custom empires. All depends

Anything with carry capacity. I'm too much of a hoarder.
same. I hoard everything and rather walk slow than drop anything

Caesar 3 for me. I adore that game, but Augustus adds so many QOL improvements. I guess I would also add FNV as a dishonorable mention, as that game crashes way too fucking often without a few basic mods. But in general, if a game requires modding for me to enjoy it, I'm not playing it. Too many other choices out there for me to spend time attempting to make a single game 'better'. I drop Skyrim pretty quickly no matter how many shitty mods I've thrown at it.

Thats fair but I admit I have a group of fallout 4 mods that make that game extremely good so that made me look into skyrim mods and i found a ton that really change the game for the better

To elaborate on what I said before, it's not just about committing a lot of time to a single game. I like experiencing a breadth of experiences. So if I were to choose between investing more time in a single game or in multiple newer, shorter experiences, I would choose the multiple. But out of curiosity, what mods are you referring to with Fallout 4. I thought about trying it out, but the gameplay I say reminded me a little too much of other looter-shooters.

Skyrim, remember spending hours finding the mods, required dependencies and testing until I could get a few hours before a crash XD, looking back on it I probably enjoyed the modding process then actually playing them, the rush when it booted and didn't immediately burst into flames... I just don't have the energy to do this much anymore.

Rimworld, Cyberpunk, and Skyrim are the big ones, but I don't think I could handle going through all that again, either.

Part of why I like Nexus at the moment, they added a way to download whole collections of mods that, in theory, should work. But its Nexus only, no loverslab for the truly good stuff.

Exactly, loverslab would be my starting point, nowadays, so it would be a slog.

Id have to get the full list as i have mods that add new creatures, changes the environment, and a few other things. Once i get some free time ill get you the list

I have found mods to be much more stable lately so i dont crash unless I mess up in installing them. Its happened a few times.

I think cyberpunk is my least modded game. I love the base game. Any mods youd recomend?

I like the collection downlaod. It is super handy

What are some mods youd recommend from loverslab?
Its been a while, so the aniversery edition might have more now, but on the original Skyrim you start with the SexLab framework then look into different types of animations you can add, most are usually in large packs with variations of quality. Devious Devices can either be entertaining or annoying depending on the framework and quests (Starting with your arms bound in a BDSM harnes is funny until you realise no NPC will help you or will just keep mocking you, many deaths to bloody wolves cause I couldn't fight back: Sanguine Debauchery I think it is).

You really need to decide what kind of gameplay you want. Do you want Skyrim with the option to have sex or do you want Sexrim, getting staggered/assaulted, running around in bondage, unable to fight/interact, etc. Different mods for different things. Some play nice together, some don't. The big decision is SexLab (More sex, more options) vs Ostim (Skyrim with some sex). Also decide if you want to play someone with agency or a perpetual victim.

Yeah... Listen to this one, pretty sure I just tossed whatever I could into it to be honest. Still surprised I could get a semi stable modded version working.

I'm also going to highly recommend Wabbajack for install. There's a few to choose from if you're looking for sex, from vanilla+ to extreme sex focused. It turns searching/installing 1000+ mods into a one-click streamlined solution. Well... one click if you subscribe to Nexusmods premium for a month. If not, you're spending a few days clicking "yes download" for each mod. But they do still self-install, tested modlists that work reliably, etc. I'll take that over perfect self-customization any day.
