IIRC it's something they simply CAN'T enter a house without permission. Holy place they can't period or doing so will injure/kill them. They also can't cross running water. Vampires are a representation of disease and a lot of the things bad for them are healthy (or were thought to be) - garlic, running water, sunlight.... Holy things because it was a much more religious time than now.

actually you are rite. I had to Google it. You just basically said the same. I actually didn't know this. I only seen what said in movies and Bram Stokers Dracula about the "they cant enter a house without permission" This actually makes sense. "Evil cant enter a home without permission"

The darkness conceals the true evil and hides their face" Same with demonology. In the dark they can scare us and feel they have the power of secrecy, and water, like lakes and rivers, is purification and cleansing. Evil ones (vampires ect) will hate the water as it washes their abominations away, which is what they are.

I mean, according to a lot of European legends. It seems Asian legends are a bit different but this can be other subject. we don't have huge information on deal with vampire demons.


@FLYING_WEIRD Just imagine, if you are undead you have no use for your internal organs (except the heart maybe) so you could sell bunch of stuff and make some good money. It all have good benefits.

The powers are overrated lol. It sometimes sucks be a vampire haha (bad pun intended)

I did have fun times. Went and saw the new Gosling move: Project Hail Mary. Hollywood actually made a good sci-fi film.

Hollywood? Made a good movie? I thought they forgot how to lol.

But seriously, Im glad you enjoyed it. I love scify if they are made well and have a good storyline. Nothing worse than bad acting and trash story in any Genre.

I don't mind Ryan Gosling as actor. I don't know much but he seems pretty reasonable.

Although, I do prefer older actors like Kenia Reeves, and also Kate Blanchet. They are very good at their rolls. Every now and then Hollywood still produces something worth watching, but the CGI and face effects get bit annoying when they over do it all.

I think this is why so many remain lurker's. Everytime you write something you expose yourself to get hurt, and not everyone manages to not care what others say.

I have been a member (vbefore I left) and also my rejoin now for probably 2 or so years, and to be honest there was only even one issue that I had, which was nothing more than my mistake on communication break down. Other thn that, yes, people do bitch on at times, and for the most part its just nonsence, so I dont know why you feel this way, unless you had something hapen to you.

If this is the case you (and anyne else with consern) can either report the offendr, or DM a mod for advice, but I write on lurkers a lot, and so far I never had anyone hurtful, or be not caring, although Im sure many dont interest in what I say. Its prt of life.

I fond from my experiance that in rl or online, some will love to talk, others are not interested, then there are those inbetween. I honest dont give shit if people talk or not.

Meaning. I love good chat, but it people dont want then Im not worried. The only time I get my back up is crosing that line and being dissrespectful or just an ashole. Thats where I start caring. Other than this it is up to you/me/us to make effort, or not.

I hope this was in some way helpful. My few cents worth of advice.
