Some of the people here don't irritate me instantly, but under the restrictions of the forum it's not worth trying to have a conversation on the forum with them. The forum pretty much only allows fluff "memes" or posts the staff agree with. As stated in my signature, it's an 18+ forum, but the staff pretend that people can't just use the ignore feature if they don't want to interact with somebody so they "moderate" the forum based on personal ideological biases in most cases.

For instance, the first use of the term pizza predates the completely fabricated story about Margherita of Savoy which Italians and really most people accept as the origin of "pizza". Making the statement that pizza is Italian is inherently political even if it's inconsequential to say considering the actual form and function go well before Italians got their hands on tomatoes from Mexico which by extension would mean that "pizza" is an adaptation of food that existed prior which would be Persian in it's first iteration which was then passed to the Greeks which then went to a very specific sub section of Italy before it was largely mainstreamed in America. Additionally America is responsible for the world's most popular pizza topping the Pepperoni so I'd argue "modern" pizza is as American as it is Italian considering it's largely the American version that people recognize anyway. By the stated rules any political posts are meant to be disallowed, but it's selectively enforced as long as the staff either agrees with the position or the person wins the very cliquish popular contest on the forum.

As a result of nothing of any substance being "allowed" on the forum by whims of the staff it is far easier to simply not use the forum because it's all just spam. Heck asking how the weather is could be considered political because climate activists exist.

Furthermore nobody cares if I use the forum or not, heck nobody here would care if I walked into traffic later tonight and anybody saying they would is lying.

I talk a lot here (honestly too much :3) and I've never ran into any issues like that, so many it wouldn't be so bad but I get it if it's not your thing <3 I also care to some extent about everyone that messages here There are people who when they come online and make a post I'm happy to see them/hear from them

Though Robin taking over my profile is your fault and may be a reason to deny your existence.

It wasn't so much a "test" as it was a roundabout emphasis on my point as to how utterly unimportant my existence is to the site. You likely wouldn't have an answer in the future though as that'd require my actually coming back for it to be remotely "fair". Unless there is something essential that the new activity coins are needed for I don't see myself engaging further. Even today I really only posted because of a utilitarian question since I didn't think I missed the deadline to withdrawal and yet empty bank account and what have you. I used to check in at least daily, but with the change in management creating some site problems I've been lax in doing so. That said even when I checked in it wasn't to post.


I think you might have got the wrong impression, fluff is fine for fluff enjoyers, but if I'm going to waste my time browsing I'd rather it have at least some purpose. It doesn't have to be super deep, but a smug photo of Winnie the Pooh doesn't fall into that category for me personally. When I tried to actually engage prior I was met with moderation issues claiming that I was intentionally being "difficult" and "divisive" trying to discuss news happening in the world. So that's kind of where things stand with this site as far as I'm concerned it's not really worth navigating around the sensibilities of the staff because I'm not one of the "cool" kids who can apparently say whatever they please even alluding to committing actual criminal acts and the staff just look the other way. Heck one time they claimed I "threatened" the site by mentioning that it was likely governed by the law where the template they used to create the site is hosted and that was just an observation not a threat.

See fluff enjoyment, but it's good that you enjoyed it because it's used pretty frequently around here, it was being used when I was getting members+ so it'll come back around in the future. Pretty sure they worship it like some sort ineffable idol around here, maybe it's the fact that it's a bear and there's already an association with a different bear amongst the degenerates that call this place home. ATF seems to have been absorbed as well so even more so these days I'd imagine.

Only once, truck with heavy construction equipment made a left turn despite the fact I had the walk signal so they did not have an arrow, but they were booking it so I decided not to enter the crosswalk until they made the turn out of pure distrust

I just want to add that I describe this incident only because vehicular manslaughter is the quintessential GTA experience. And don't worry too much this was quite a while ago. God I wish there was an edit button
