Visual novels and manga in English are a huge help. When I first started, whenever I came across a word or phrase I didn't understand, I looked it up right away; now that hardly ever happens to me.

Has anyone been playing 'Host Blackjack' and tried to split? I split 8's and it won't let me finish the hand. It won't let me click on anything. If I try to hit the Start button, it just keeps saying, "Finish current hand first." I would love to finish lol, but it won't let me.

Anyways, guys I figured out that the vault is gone. Can anyone explain what happened to the vault? Because I never used it. But what happened? Was it replaced by the bank because it seems like it's gone, unless it's going to get restored, because I heard good things about the vault.

That's so ass backwards to me. I would think someone would need to be able to vocalize certain vowels of a language in order to be able to communicate with written language.
For me I only speak English and couldn't imagine writing a paragraph in French. Let alone be fluent in it.
Did you learn via using translators?

I'll try to keep this short because there's actually a lot to say...

• ATF is shutting down, which caused a massive exodus of users looking for new forums, with many of them ending up here.​
• The server was already close to its limit by then, and all those new users flooding in at once was like a battering ram against the server.​
• The site was down for a little over a day while Jack and Apollo tried to fix it.​
• When it came back online, there was terrible lag. Jack traced it back to the shop and the bank, so he disabled them and later removed them.​
• The server will be moving soon, and Jack has introduced a new currency system while everything is being sorted out for the move.​

It's not that complicated, once you hear and read a language enough (be trough movies, videos, games, books, webpages, etc), you should be able to understand it and even write it with some practice, the worst part is speak it, specially if NO ONE ELSE in your surroundings speaks it either (my case).

I learned the basics in school. The rest was all practice through visual novels, manga in English, and playing online with English-speaking clans.

It's much easier to read than to write, and easier to write than to speak. For me, English is... terrible. Most likely because my native language is different, but the fact that vowels sound different in different words without any rules or logic drives me crazy. English has too many exceptions to its grammar rules. Like irregular verbs, pronunciations, and the use of the letter H.

So basically, I learned that you can’t learn English by studying—it’s memorization through practice.
