I've been watching Fallout. Only tried the games 1 and 2 but gave up due to not even being able to get past the first part. Over the top difficulty. Never tried after that expecting the same but recently found out they dropped that.

Wow had no idea Capcom released RE 9. What's it about? Who's the lead? What ya think of it?

With all the crap Capcom has done I just don't love or follow them anymore. This is coming from someone who adores Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter, warts n' all. Played the hell out of RE 4 and 5. Appreciates the art the old Capcom made, Okami for example. Finally, loved virtually anything they made. God Hand, Power Stone, Cannon Spike ... could go on forever.

fallout new vegas is a good game to start off with, its really fun

a good thing about these games is that they aren't linked, so if you skip one, you won't miss any content, just a few references.

It takes concepts and some locations from all games topped with awkward Hollywood writing which gives zero fucks about anything. Standard fare, really. Take that as you will.

Curious on your take of both. Can't head to the future unless you look back on the past. On the other hand, a game needs merits to stand on it's own. How does it fare as it's own entity?

I've done something like that with earbuds. "My sound isn't working" turned out to be "I'm wearing earplugs, and my earbuds are just dangling."

Fallout 3, New Vegas, and 4 are where it's at. Those three and the Bioshock series are my all time favorites.
