That's the story of every crowdfunded MMO. Rip AoC.I remember being excited about that mess (Star Citizen) ages ago. It's crazy that so much money has been dropped on it by backers / "players"

Star Citizen Devs deserve all the money they take from the supporters.....at a certain point they earned my respect.I remember being excited about that mess (Star Citizen) ages ago. It's crazy that so much money has been dropped on it by backers / "players"
Oooh, each day just uncovers more and more mess with this game. That's the story of every crowdfunded MMO. Rip AoC.
Ashes of Creation was stupid, they had no cool stuff to Pre Sell DLC.That's the story of every crowdfunded MMO. Rip AoC.
Just send a ticket to a mod if you lost it and really had it.Does members+ get reset often? I got it and a while back and now it's gone.
It was so hilarious though....I mean they promised stuff that is not even economically possible with such model and people still gave them money.Oooh, each day just uncovers more and more mess with this game.
Very telling name this project has.
With all the info about the project coming out right now having no cool stuff seems to be the least of their problems.Ashes of Creation was stupid, they had no cool stuff to Pre Sell DLC.
I wonder if they have any even valuable assets that they could sell off since I doubt they have any real value as a game studio. With all the info about the project coming out right now having no cool stuff seems to be the least of their problems.
The Idea of the game was cool, Eve online in fantasy setting, at least what i was able to understand.Ashes of Creation was stupid, they had no cool stuff to Pre Sell DLC.
Thank you, I will try this and pray.Just send a ticket to a mod if you lost it and really had it.
I mean the solution would be just get all the crowdfunding money put it in a blackjack hand double or nothing....that is probably the same probability of making a good game anyway maybe even less. The Idea of the game was cool, Eve online in fantasy setting, at least what i was able to understand.
And realisation of that idea, wasnt bad, as far as i know.
all bad stuff happened because Steven Sharif fucked up with money from beginning, didn't tell anyone, and tried to manage a solution.
I didnt pay any money for AoC, but I was hopefull.
He was offered a big money by some investor, for his IP. But he refused, and continued spiraling down the pipe.I mean the solution would be just get all the crowdfunding money put it in a blackjack hand double or nothing....that is probably the same probability of making a good game anyway maybe even less.
Well at least we can thank you for Divinity 1and2, that was masterpiece.Such a shame about this one:

Hmm, wonder if I ever got a code for Torment or Wings... I guess based on the list, it wasn't too bad. Mandate got cancelled and Star Shitizen (more specifically SQ42) is probably never going to see the light of day. Divinity, Wasteland and Beautiful Isolation were good ones, SToneheart was fun even though I dont think it ever got to the end, And Ofcourse Blood Machines is great stuff.
What I learned from SC was to never go in 'bigly'.![]()
Corruption is a nice genre....making good girls go deprave is nice to see...Aye, Sven and his team have done a great job with those games. I still remember all the little tooltip humour they had in the original Divinity game (Divine Divinity) and the sequel(?) Beyond Divinity (Even if it used Starforce). Get high enough Resistance and the explainer for your stat would be something like "Your resistance to lightning is so high you could stand in a pool of water, wearing full plate armor and yell ALL GODS ARE BASTARDS with impunity".
I think they making a new DIvinity game now? Should be good.
Reminds me I still need to finish BG:3.
Edit:
I'm sure the edjumecational value of the Star Citizen kickstarter and crowdfunding is worth more than the 270+M USD the game has gotten.
Just think of the things people have learned more about
- Sunk cost fallacy
- Whales
- Feature Creep
- The importance of project management and having "talent" not necessarily be involved in executive decisions
- Corruption and Nepotism
Good stuff.
Yeah but in this case, it's a board of several old men.Corruption is a nice genre....making good girls go deprave is nice to see...

Idk....a college graduate hot secretary being gangbanged by the ugly old executives probably be a nice watch hahaYeah but in this case, it's a board of several old men.
I was thinking the same thing.haven’t played either but I will take that as a game recommendation and put it on my play later list
