Mine aren't actually too bad, just not getting a return. Owe a little on the federal side (no idea why, I tell work to withhold whatever is needed), got a little back stateside, evens out to basically nil.

But I miss the days when I'd get a nice hefty check this time of year. Especially since my car insurance bill is due in a couple weeks....

Adulting sucks.

I still have my shiny metal 'Rear Admiral' card I got in 2013 or w.e.... Good times. Pretty sure CR killed Game Kickstarters.

Star Citizen Devs deserve all the money they take from the supporters.....at a certain point they earned my respect.
I mean at the amount of money they have gotten they probably should just put it in investment fund then release more PROMISE bigger ships for bigger whales.
Best money grab model I have ever seen and it is somehow sustainable....
They should make their corpo logo a Star with shades...

Ashes of Creation was stupid, they had no cool stuff to Pre Sell DLC.
Star Citizen promises ships that look cool....it is going to be so hilarious that even if the game somehow releases I doubt people would enjoy it.
I mean newcomers will be outpaid buy any backer and balance will probably suck with the ton of stuff the biggest whales have given.

It was so hilarious though....I mean they promised stuff that is not even economically possible with such model and people still gave them money.
Still we get ton of good documentary videos on it and how the drama continues to unfold.

I wonder if they have any even valuable assets that they could sell off since I doubt they have any real value as a game studio.
I mean I doubt their IP is worth much...

The Idea of the game was cool, Eve online in fantasy setting, at least what i was able to understand.
And realisation of that idea, wasnt bad, as far as i know.
all bad stuff happened because Steven Sharif fucked up with money from beginning, didn't tell anyone, and tried to manage a solution.

I didnt pay any money for AoC, but I was hopefull.
