Maybe the compromise is living in the countryside… with internet. I’m not ready to give up civilization just yet.

Nearly no one is ready for giving this up permamently.
Actually that's my plan. Just need to figure out some things, maybe even find someone that is ready to life a simpler life, but with modern perks. But that's just optional.

On my travels I had at best 2 weeks no connection to the web and other digital media. It's so interesting how coming back home feels so empty. I needed days to acclimate to the plethora of of content, so overwhelming was it.

I don’t think there are really any tips for Stardew Valley. It’s pretty easy. You won’t miss anything either, since there’s no strict time limit like in Harvest Moon. When I played, I only discovered an event in my fourth year that most people usually see in their second. So just relax and enjoy it.

Playing it makes me want to min-max my farming, like people who get hooked on Factorio, always thinking “just one more turn.” Even though I haven’t actually played Factorio, I can imagine it’s even worse than what I did in Stardew Valley.
