Hello guys and @ylntla81! ,

I got good and bad news:
The next days I will be too busy to comment and reacting.

A friend is spontaneous moving in an another flat. Means I need to pack my tools, drive 400km, will stay there for the weekend and drive back. Starting tomorrow right after work. I still don't know what there need to be done. So I will pack way more tools than proably needed. Wish me luck.

It's okay, only problem is how spontaneous it is, how low the budget of that friend is and that there is zero planning behind it. Hopefully nothing breaks or needs to be bought additionally. At least there are some hardware stores nearby.

Man, my laptop finally gave out today. The audio was crackling all day and then, of course, after I hit it out of frustration, the sound just died completely. Classic.

I’ve been using this thing for almost 10 years, so I figure I deserve a new one at this point, but I still want to repair the old laptop too, just in case I need a backup.

This machine has been through so much with me. The battery even bloated (super dangerous, could’ve exploded), so I had to remove it myself.

And to top it all off, I just bought a new phone, so my budget is already tight. Anyway, does anyone know a good mid-range gaming laptop under $1,000?

I know it's crazy but my portable gaming is the Legion Go. It was about $800 two years ago, probably cheaper now, but it's ultra portable and I even run things like Space Marine 2. Hell, I'm on it right now connected to an external mouse/keyboard/monitor as my desktop. It's a hell of a device.
