Yeah, I’ve come to the same realization. Thank God we were born in the modern era, where we have endless entertainment to distract us from existential dread.Lately I came to the understanding the point of life is basically boredom and repetition.
As I spend each day doing the same thing and the other half being bored every day.
Also you all are gambling addicts and need help.
Imagine being born in the medieval era, where your main sources of entertainment were watching traveling performers, listening to tavern gossip, or staring into a fire and contemplating your inevitable death.

Now that I think about it, medieval entertainment might’ve actually been better. It was all about living in the moment because there was no way to capture it.
Modern entertainment, meanwhile, is obsessed with capturing the moment, saving it, and sharing it, often at the cost of actually enjoying it.
Different eras, different habits, same outcome: keeping ourselves occupied long enough to forget our cosmic insignificance.
