The gist of it is that the dev's probably not getting out of prison any time soon, and even if he does he won't be continuing any of his games.

That's for damn sure....I doubt he will ever be allowed to use a PC ever again...and if so he'll be monitored.

So many twists when all this happened, and the truth finally came out. What a damn idiot.

It sucks because I really liked the game but yea... I stopped feeling bad for him when those details came out. It's really dumb to put people in prison for fictional content, but he crossed a lined that should never be crossed.

To be honest, I'm a little worried about the ban on mentioning names. It's just some kind of cancel culture, really. if you forbid a person to appear on the forum, then forbid a person to appear on the forum, why should his name mentioning be prohibited? what did they equate Westy with the name Negro? Is that how it turns out? And how do you want to mention Westy when it needed? as W-word? It's absurd! This is simply absurd!

I started this because Westy's name was blurred even in the title of the game. and this is the very cancel-culture.

Bull-crap his name was blurred and you couldn't mention his name because of his court case and the heat that came with it.

Now it doesn't matter he can rot in jail after the truth finally came out. So mention his name it doesn't matter anymore.

I didn't use an iOS version either, but since there are Mac links on the OP, I'm guessing there might be an error in the conversion from PC that the dev did or something. Technically, you could probably use the Console (or maybe URM or similar) to set a value for dev_num so it doesn't crash. The problem with that is, ofc, that I have no idea what that variable's supposed to be. It could be anything from a simple number to an object (sort of similar to a Character, where there are several aspects of it that should get defined). So if you assign the wrong value to that, at best the game will take you down a route that you never chose and so ignore choices you may have made. If it's worse than that, though, it might just crash your game again later. Maybe someone else can see what the value of that is supposed to be. But manually defining that to its correct value would probably fix things for you.

I think what is missing is that nobody will complete this game. I am very sure that this was part of OP. But what is 100% missing is that the part where Seath said he will continue it was crossed out, because currently it looks like he has plans to continue it, but this is not the case anymore.

Someone please extend this game. Zöe needs more love.

Nobody will ever work on this game anymore. Too much going on with the original Dev. And if you read the Off-Topic Thread about this game, you will realize that not many people want to be associated with the game or the Dev in particular.
