I am very sad to hear I annoy you, however I must intervene when such extreme misinformation is spread. To clarify, I assume you are referring to this:

You must be registered to see attachments

Interpreting this as "nuking" is such a stretch it really needs to be corrected.

I voted for the upgrade
because I wanted stability
this site has been a house of cards lately
It would have been nice if everything switched over instantly
But it didn't... oh well... I'll get over it

and we lost some add-ons
we'll get some back

It's like when you get a new version of a video game
it's not as good as the previous one because you don't have all the DLC yet
but when the DLC does come, it's usually better that the previous versions DLC

you have to take a step backwards so that you can take two steps forward

Devs have a lot of time and money in this site
they don't want it to die
This is necessary to move forward

It was tested and this result was expected.

It's not broken, addons are disabled because they need to be upgraded. Not updating xenforo version could result in everything breaking, so this is way better choice.

1. There was a poll and 85% of the users voted to upgrade.
2. Once again, stuff was tested before.
3. LU page is being worked on, it's stupid to pay for addon that is being thrown away anyway.

So it was known that the updated version would cause problems, and yet it was updated anyway?
Why not wait and fix everything (collect enough donations) over time until all these add-ons could be replaced/fixed?
Was there any immediate reason to update right now and not wait a little longer?

A "Not updating xenforo version could result in everything breaking" is not a valid explanation, because it was apparently certain that the update broke things (as in force disabling functions), while the old version would still have worked.

Apparently the site had many errors that could not be fixed and was breaking the site down. Additionally I can show you this and I hope this is enough for you to get your answers:

sites not broken, second i was aware that upgrading the site to 2.3 would break almost all addons, this was intentional, 3rd we did test it on the test server but you saying (claimed to have)
