Still can't find a game I played recently it was Renpy and a rework of the 1st part. I only remember the 1st part and no I do not know it's name in renpy roaming folder and can't recognize it haha.
Male MC called female friend he was leaving to meet another LI and ride a plane to leave. MC stays at the home of a female friend. MC and female friend have a night out where he can hit on her. MC will have an option to drink in which he will wake up and see that he stole the Redbox thing with DVD inside them and got to the room of the female friend. The will have a fun conversation on how he stole it. The redbox vending machines that is refernce to IRL thing that has DVDS of bankrupt company. The staying with friend before leaving was some rework in the game’s 1st part and probably recently updated just can't seem to find it. I think this part where female friend lived was the expensive part of town or city. I think MC was leaving to fly to help a LI or something this was early part of the game. I think it does not have a lot of updates.
Rewards to the person who identifies it I think I played it around june or maybe even may...

Maybe search for it based on tags? Prolly got to do it elsewhere like F95 due to tag search here being broken and not that great.

I already did and even threw it at the identify section which didn't work.
I guess I will eventually see it and play it if it updates....only sure tag would be able to use is Male Protag, Renpy and not complete/onhold.
Not sure it will narrow it down enough even with exclude some tags haha.
Will just wait it out eventually it will update and I will probably try it our and realized I played it before haha

You said you checked the RenPy roaming folder, but did you filter it to the general date range you played it? That'd make it way easier to look through, could even post the filtered list to the identify section if you're comfortable enough.
If in Windows, prolly got to filter by file modification date rather than directory/folder modification date, Windows is kinda fucky when keeping track of that. For easier filtering could use a better file explorer (and then never use default file explorer again) like Filepilot or Directory Opus. Or could use file indexers like Everything or Wiztree (kinda the wrong tool but it works lol).

Problem is some names do not yield results since they use acronyms and stuff already tried searching it and gave up and just threw it to identify section and ask people if they can identify it haha
I will just let time take its course and it hopefully updates in a month or two and I play it or someone identifies it haha.
I will eventually find it hopefully without too much effort haha
