Haha, 'cult following' is one way to put it! Or maybe some of us just enjoy a director who's unapologetically extra. If that's pretentious, then I guess I'm a proud member of the preten-tious fan club. We have endless cutscenes and sometimes deliver pizza.

Different medium, I don't think he's some genius like all the jerkers worship him as, but he's not as bad as all the criticism as well. It's hard to discuss a middling artist (IMO, but it's always subjective) without it spiraling out of control.

Yeah, I totally get what you mean about Kojima. It's like his work just polarizes people, and finding a balanced take often feels impossible without someone jumping in to declare him either a god or a fraud. The discussion definitely spirals easily.

Anyways, to answer your question, I'm just chilling here, catching up on some movies and really enjoying the downtime. What about you folks?

I don't like all of Kojima's works, but I respect someone for pushing boundaries and staying true to their artistic vision. Video games would be worse off without Kojima.
