Yeah, it seemed that way, but I'm trying to find time during the morning and night. I'll be able to jump on my phone and browse, but interactions will be tough. Plus, internet is also spotty, and I'll need to use Mobile Data, rather than wifi, so my connection will suck. I popped on late, and everyone was like it's April Fool's, and the time zone change is already fucking with me. I set my alarm to 5am, and woke up an hour ago without it. Pretty much like I do at home, but it's after 3:30am here. Now I'm up, and going back to sleep has always been difficult for me.

Yeah, we turned in that stuff a while ago. I was starting to freak out when people said they had already got their invitations, and it usually only takes a couple weeks. I guess they rolled out a few in waves? I was expecting mid-April or nothing. I had to take a last minute flight yesterday, to prepare for next month. I'm only out of pocket for my stay, we applied early, so I think there was a discount, but I did have an additional 90-100 dollar fee for extra access to something.

My reply was way longer, but I basically removed a lot of personal information. Were you in Film Production or Press?

Oh, that's a sweet deal then, happy for you! I was press... related? I did a lot of heavy lifting in organizing niche film festivals on the northern and eastern side of Europe, which gave me a lot of access to the more mainstream outlets like Berlinale and... to an extent Cannes. Thought, nothing that would warrant them to invite me personally of course. Just that if I ever to attend during that time, I would have more open doors than a general public.

Nice! I know a guy that can get in with Press or Filmmaker access. Since they have a hand in everything from Production to Media.

I went to College for Film Studies, so my interests have only increased since I actually entered the industry. Once you see the process of how everything gets done, you get enthralled. So, I've gained a great appreciation for the way people present their visions.
For example, the woman who did Twilight, Catherine Hardwicke. I don't like Twilight, but the cinematography used in the first movie and Red Riding Hood, I found to be pretty impressive.

Notably, I met Peter Jackson and Saoirse Ronan when I was in my second year of College. I was close to changing courses, but stuck with it after that. Always wanted to work on something really big, or at least be involved in some way.

I was hoping to get a decent image out for the Wholesome thread before I took off, but my Laptop is really struggling. So, no games, weak laptop, crappy coffee, and an irksome roommate. Feels bad.

Settled in, Roommate apparently likes to live like a slob, so I did a bit of cleaning. My Interest got pushed back, because of the 2 hour difference. I took a little run on, nice to be outdoors here, and not on the Treadmill back home.
