What make you love skyrim in the first place?

The mods. The fact that the engine is so well designed (despite being buggy af) that you could literally play any game inside it. For those that didn't get the chance to test it yet, try Enderal, which is a full standalone game made using Skyrim.

Exploration was the key to it for me. Each cave and dungeon felt handcrafted with love and you truly never knew what was going to be inside them.

Even though it’s the mods in this game that keep me playing, my first experience playing without mods and enjoying the variety of story choices is why I really love this game

It was like Gothic I-II-III games, but with better graphics and more to explore and good story, after that ther were the witcher and the dark souls games... I have never played modded skyrim, so I can't say anything about that part.

The crazy amount of mods that they have developed. However, did they ever release the AI character controlled mod to engage in full conversations?

How is that even possible? Unmodded skyrim is a retirement home on ice. The very first thing i did after riverwood was closing it and looking for mods to make people younger...and then i found more...much more...and sexlab...and so much more...my basic setting has 283 mods and every time i play it from scratch i add new mods until i reach the 500 limit to turn it into a new game ^^

But good to know someone remembers the good old gothic times, sadly they never were modable to improve the very outdated graphics, i still play them from time to time, but without mods nothing ever changes, so its not a challengy anymore to pick every plant, get every xp point and solve everything on a free day, 2 for gothic 2 with addons.

What made me love Skyrim is that the laptop I was using at the time was a bit of a potato, yet Skyrim would still run on it.

I love fantasy and having an open world to explore as I want was an amazing experience when it was released.

Open world
Sandbox
3rd person
Freedom, nobody's forcing you to complete the main quest or anything like that

It was the 1st game with actual children (npc) and you MAY kill them with no mercy!⚔️:love::LOL:(y)😌👉👈

You can explore the world and find something interesting and new just about anywhere you go. Down side of course, for me, is I never fished it because I was always running off to do some side quest or explore new areas.

for me its the world, its big and can feel dense like there's a lot there and to do and it can become so much better with mods, so I guess I also love how moddable it is
