    I prefer animated or semi-animated games. Static images require deeper involvement in the story and what's happening. Also, my problem with static images is that they take too long to describe a one scene.

    Without a story, I'll just explore all the possibilities and end up deleting the game. But with a story, I have an incentive to roleplay.

    For me, it's not. You'll find it through trial and error if you know what you're looking for. Also, during the search, you might find mini treasures. I think the real problem is keeping the game interesting once you start 'understanding' it.

    I started with flash games, then I found Nutaku, it had some interesting stuff. After that, I just started checking out different sites to see what else was out there.
