Exceptionally promising start. Usually I'm not all that into Kinetic Novels but this one was surprisingly decent. The story is a little contrived but overall a much better start than 99% of VNs out there. Looking forward to seeing where this goes.

The 2 youngest daughters are my favorite so far. They're both so cute (with that little buck-toothed smile). Please keep the cute aspects (even as things get naughtier).

I'm liking the game so far. Interesting concept. I just went through it once and was a little confused with the Tracy thing coming back in his brain making him feel strange, but it all came together. I hope this is completed and not abandoned in the future. Good luck ElfieEven!!!!

So... that's where things get a little interesting. I haven't announced this yet, but the 'canon' way the story occurs is via the top option at every choice menu. Even when it makes it seem like you will be missing out on content.

I strongly recommend not reading the following until you have played through the game as it contains major spoilers.
I say 'makes it seem' because you're not going to miss anything. At the start of the story, you can make choices but these are false choices. There is something inside of the MC that will override any choice that is made which it disagrees with. As time goes on, this influence will wane as the MC learns to better resist the voice, at which point choices will start to matter.

So then we have to look at what choices are typically given to players. A huge one is which LIs to persue, but PGI has completely taken that choice away from the MC. I am never going to write a monster who would abandon innocents to die, so it's basically pokemon at this point and there are other infected out there that will need the MCs... medicine

Based on those facts, this AVN has to be tagged as KN according to the rules of the site. At least until the MC gets to start making choices that will have a lasting impact. When that changes and the MC can start making choices, then I will be able to remove that tag.

First off thanks for your comments! And yes... exposition definitely goes overboard which is something I'm working on improving in Episode 2. That said, this is planned out to be a very long series (currently planning 3 seasons) and there are things being setup now that won't pay off until season 3, but I have to start slowly feeding information to the players.

Funny enough, the first version that my reviewers received had even more information that was removed to clarify things a bit. I'm working on a way to provide more details on the world, in a way that is easily accessible for those who are interested, but just as easy to ignore for those who don't. This additional information would be limited to things that the MC would actually know, so there won't be any spoilers.

As for the models.. I cannot take credit for those as they are the work of the amazing ND3D. As mentioned in another response, most of the characters are within their statistical height. I say most, as there are two that aren't for reasons that will be explained in the future.


Heh... there is definitely no plot hole but there ARE unanswered questions. I think it's easy enough to figure out how the trio (nice phrasing btw!) were infected, but the other two are a definite mystery in this episode. Episode 2 will start to explore these questions, but don't expect quick or easy answers to everything

First off, the trio + MC were always going to happen, even without PGI. We'll start seeing more about the family's backstory via additional flashbacks in the future, but even in this episode you can see that Tracy has spent a LOT of time preparing (some would say grooming?) the girls.

As for PGI-257... all I can say is that nobody has said that Frank and his daughters have PGI-257. All we know so far is that it acts VERY different from PGI-255.

Another thing to point out is this line which in hindsight I could have made a little more obvious.

I can't tell her the whole truth.. not until I know more about what's going on, but a little bit of the truth goes a long way.

When he says the whole truth, he means the the mind-control/psychological aspects. After she reveals the 'family' phrase, he's willing to reveal a bit more, but for the most part he keeps things close to his chest. His only goal in life is to protect his family and while Jasmine may eventually be family, she hasn't gotten to that point yet. Even with the 'family' code phrase that Tracy gave her.

Bwahahaha I LOVE being pedantic myself So yes.. there is a universe where MC is stuck in a loop looking at Lily's panties because how could he stop looking?

Overall things are going well with most initial writing for Episode 2 completed and work started on renders. In fact, I'm almost finished the final scene which might be small, but it's important so I'm happy to nearly have it out of the way.

This weeks teasers that I've posted over there include the first in game reveal of the newest member of the family and Jasmine and MC sitting around having a chat.

Agreed, but in this case she really did have to go. Her loss has already had a huge impact on the story, and there are other planned story lines which depend on her not being there. And that's before we consider how powerful her manipulation skill was. Consider what we see in just Episode 1:

• Somehow managed to get into a very important private party, and helped steal the package without any signs of violence/bloodshed on her or MC after.
• From what we're told, MC has, at the very least lightly pushed back on the idea of being with his daughters. Yet somehow all three of them still manage to fall in love with him? That sounds a bit sus to me.
• Has Hailey, Jasmine and Yuna all lined up for her 'club'.

She's so over powered that MC would be an idiot not to use her to solve almost every problem he runs into that he can't kill/blow up. And if there is one thing I hate more than 'mom dying', it's stupid characters ignoring completely obvious solutions to whatever problem they have.

I, for one, would actually enjoy reading the story of Tracy going through life on 'easy mode', but it's not the story I wanted to write.

That's actually an extremely great point. Good character progression is important to get you more invested in a story. I definitely don't like overly stupid characters either.
