It is really weird that they claim it is to prevent obscenity, but Japanese porn has some of the most depraved degenerate things imaginable on the planet, and is probably the only place in the world where lolicon and shotacon is so common that it's okay to sexualize (animated) children for morning TV.

Like I said an old law they really dont care about what porn they made it is just not allowed to show genitals. The law is about not show genitals since Japan is so strict with law they have to follow it. If you find some uncensored porn they are probably underground made by mostly yakuza.

Not really just Yakuza, there are some labels for Adult Videos that sells worldwide, so they have options without censorship, but they are somewhat rare.

Most JP games don't have an uncensor patch because all the jpgs need to be redrawn to remove the mosaics or white tip-ex. That's just too much work for most modders. We are truly in the worst timeline.

Indeed, I just wish jp games came with an uncensored patch but that's probably illegal for them

Imagine when Korea starts making their own games, their porn manhua censorship makes Japanese censorship passable. It's straight up a white outline drawn over any genitalia.

Nobody likes censorship, but there are good games out there that are worth playing if you can look past it.

Until now, the censorship made me stay away from those games. I might still play some of them down the road but only those with a heavy focus on the story (that way, I won't have to cringe too often while facing their ridiculous mosaic censorships ).

Ridiculous mosaics are for sure sooooo weird to look at, but true tho, if the storys good i dont care that much about it but if its sex focused we have a problem ngl~
