Just a quick announcement about my personal life, if you don't care you can move along, nothing witty in here.

Just wanted to say, I lost my grandpa the night to yesterday, and used most of yesterday to try and process that.
It didn't come as a shock, as we were all kinda expecting it at some point, because the doctors had given him some months left.
I'm okay, and yes I was very close to him, maybe not in the last couple of years, because he had sarted to forget us.
But it still hurts to lose him.

My condolences, the ones you see coming are sometimes the ones that hit you hard later down the road... or maybe not, who knows...

Anyways, rip in peace gran-slumpa.

My condolences.
I already lost two of mine, and it's really shitty.
When I heard about it I was sad, but it was on the funeral that it really hit me.
Seeing them for the last time I think it makes it more real, I don't know.
I'm sorry for your loss.

Goblin Slayer never interested me, most people I've seen liked it just for the shock value.

Real talk it's not even that shocking though. But it is good I would recommend checking out the first season at least

Actually I have heard good buzz about alice in borderlands I didn't realize it was an adaptation. I gotta start paying more attention to whats coming out family and I canceled all the subscriptions and just stream things now. Only downside is you have to know what you want to watch haha

Yeah the anime was only 3 episodes. The covers it all in the first episode. But the manga is 18 books

I have a book, I like, but in one way to pushes my button's, the MC will look at all that going on before doing shit.(this is how it feels) It like, bob look in to the room and see tom beat the shit out of a Woman then move on to beat the next and the next, bob move in to the room seeing as he can't not help. but some how you did not move till he was on to the 3 one, how fucking slow are you. just have the MC running to get there or something.

Completely agree about post season one of goblin slayer I was like I waited this long for this!!

That's the difference between writing for a manga and writing for a anime, I think.
Definitely a broader audience. But play it a little safer.

I still liked the second season of goblin slayer. But the whole time I watched it I was like something is off. It didn't feel as dark and edgy as the first. But I'm waiting to see if they do another season of Sao. I know they are doing another movie and Netflix is doing a live adaptation of it.

Sorry for your loss. Losing someone close to you is always hard. I hope it somehow helps to think a good person will always be alive in the memories of the people's lives they made brighter.

I've never watched Slime nor Shield Hero. I wanted to, but I'm lazy.
Goblin Slayer never interested me, most people I've seen liked it just for the shock value.
I think the closest anime to it that I've recently watched was Vinland Saga, I liked it.



Most of them are bad, yeah, but some are actually good!
Nodame Cantabile is even better than the anime adaptation. Rurouni Kenshin is really good, too.
I liked both Gintama and Jojo, the characterization was on point!
Japanese Death Note, One Piece and Yu Yu Hakuso were acceptable.
Alita I didn't read/watch the original, so I don't have to compare them, but I also liked it.

The shock value to goblin slayer was the opening scene in the first episode. But the anime toned it done majorly. Wasn't even shown basically. The manga was very graphic in its depiction. A guy I work just watched Vinland and enjoyed the first season but said the second season was garbage.

I haven't watched any of one piece yet. Same guy at work says the live is just as good as the anime. Plus he said they removed a lot of the filler stuff that made the anime seem slow in places
